Hi there, this shouldn't be the case with our app. All recipes have full ingredient lists, and step by step instructions. Please send us an email to share what error has occurred support@plantyou.com.

Not free

The app is free but the content in the app is not. There are probably 5 recipes you can choose from that’s free. All the others require a monthly subscription. I was hoping to try the meal plans and shopping list out before I dedicate close to $100/year on a subscription.

I’ll stick to Mealime as they have lots of vegan options.

Bit Disappointed that the First Recipe Book not included or perhaps only partially

I really wanted to give this ap five stars and I even paid for a month subscription because I had forgotten my grocery list. So like I had mentioned , I had downloaded the app to see if I could find the recipe that I was going to create tonight. The recipe was from the first recipe book.
It was not listed in the app.
Unless I am not looking in the right place. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. I am a huge fan of the first book. I haven’t bought the second book yet.

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointment. The cookbook recipes are not available in the app. The cookbook recipes are exclusive to the books. The meal planner is a database of 700+ plant-based recipes developed by Carleigh, and PlantYou team.

Great recipes

Thank you for the app, the recipes and other features are great, I’m using the free version so I’m limited but for what I see I think it’s a hit!!
Such a great idea along with your newest book, which I’ve requested for my June birthday 🎂.

Don’t bother

So glad I made up a fake email to sign up. There’s absolutely no point downloading this app if you’re not prepared to pay for a subscription. There’s no trial, no way to test the functionality of the app. What a scam. This lady pisses me off. Wish negative stars were possible for wasting my time.

I'm so sorry you had this experience with our app. When you download the app, you have access to the free version right away, with 25+ free recipes and a beginner meal plan. In order to pay for the premium version you need to upgrade.

Is it me or is this menu planning confusing. Recipes are good though.

Carleigh makes everything so easy with items I actually have on hand. I started eating her recipes last August and never felt better.

Recipes aren’t fully complete

Some recipes list an ingredient and then don’t explain in the steps what to do with the ingredient.

Incomplete recipes

I loved the cookbook, and so was excited for the app. However, many of the recipes I click on are incomplete in ingredients. A few I have cross referenced on the website and they are complete there, but I’d rather just search the recipes there for free. Super disappointing.

App doesn’t work

My iPhone shows I’ve paid for the app, but the app never registered I had it. I should have known there would be problems, because as soon as I tried to sign up the app was struggling to even accept my name and password

Glitch?

I follow PlantYou on IG and YouTube but didn’t realize there was an app! I just downloaded it but am already bummed…every recipe I click on shows the same steps for one single recipe: Crispy Tofu Meal Prep Bowl. I’m not sure if it’s because that was the first one I clicked on, or if that just happens to be the recipe it’s stuck on. Maybe this is just a glitch but I definitely wouldn’t pay for this app when I can’t even see any of the recipes besides Crispy Tofu Meal Prep Bowl (which sounds delicious but I kinda need to know how to make the other ones too!)

Update: I received a response from the developer stating they’d fixed some bugs, so I decided to download the app again. I entered my email and clicked “forgot password” because I couldn’t remember what it was. I got a message saying there’s no account with that email. So I tried to create a new account and it says “an account with this email already exists.” I just keep going in circles. Very sad I still can’t access any content!

Good recipes, poor app

I enjoy a lot of the recipes. But, as of late most of the ingredients don’t show. I emailed the company, but still not showing. Going to give it a bit longer, but may cancel h subscription.

App Malfunctions Frequently

When the app works, the recipes are great, and I love the step-by-step instructions. However, the latest update has NOT fixed the bug with recipe steps. I continue to get steps for a recipe NOT the recipe I clicked on. this morning alone I deleted the app and re-loaded it three times to try and correct the problem. Each time it re-occurred. 🤪

Ingredients are not all listed

The app has been malfunctioning. When I open up a recipe, oftentimes, only one ingredient is listed. Please advise. I am very distressed about this.
