Fake tutors
Worst experience ever. Most of the tutors are either fake or just some old profiles. Keeps getting the same automated reply from everyone. And once got a tutor arranged, he just keeps changing the time. And eventually wouldn’t come on the scheduled time. Total wrecked app.

Extremely friendly and helpful tutors and staff - I learned more in 15 hours of sessions (which are discounted) than 130 hours of university lectures which cost the same price

Very professional company!
For a long time during my engineering studies, I gave up on tutoring, following really bad experiences with other local tutoring companies, e.g. SuperProf.
Luckily, I came across Platute, which fixed everything, eg: great customer service (an Australian phone number is contactable, if required), a large amount of engineering tutors to choose from, tutor ‘profiles’ are really helpful and/or easy to read, if you provide enough (detailed) study info for the tutor - you’ll be well looked after, ‘session summary’ sessions are professionally prepared & emailed shortly after session completion, etc.
The greatest thing about Platute is that I developed some really cool professional relationships with certain tutors, even from overseas.

Don’t Use This
Had a lesson where tutor did not know the content after i paid for it. Then had a call from Platute trying to pin the blame on me, then a call three months later offering me a refund if I removed a negative review.
They don’t offer good tutoring, and they have terrible business practices when they can’t deliver a service.
