Amazing Text Game

I love this game the best life simulator since bitlife.

Good game! But,

I love this game, but it does have its drawbacks. ex: it doesn’t save a persons life at all, if you close the tab, you have to start a new life. This is minor, but when it says “this person is famous/super famous” it would be cool to know what they are famous for. Everything else is good for me though.

Best life sim KNOWN TO MAN

It’s so good, but I also have some ideas for some updates:
- adoption
- the opportunity to choose your main characters sexuality (not really realistic but is chosen by options in early life?)
- moving countries being in the base game!

Really enjoy this game.

I came across this game while looking for a life simulator and got hooked pretty quickly. It’s exactly the kind of game I was hoping to find. The detail is 10/10.

It’d be nice to have the option to age up manually instead of waiting on a timer and if the character avatars were a bit more realistic— although I do love the unique Art look at the same time.

Overall, those are small and tweak-able things, so my honest rating would be 4 stars.

Definitely worth the money for me and a solid pick if you’re into life sims.

It’s okay needs work tho.

I liked it a lot, BUT I hate how quick the ads come and if the ads really didn’t show up quick enough and you can enjoy the gameplay it would be great. But overall the game is lovely and it’s easy to control and super fun with all the options you have.

Please fix the relationships!!

I love the descriptions and details of this game!
However it’s often hard to play with relationships because everytime I age up my partner and I break up even if we have a good relationship!! I don’t know if it’s just me or if it’s the game..but I’d really appreciate a update to the relationships.

FAVORITE GAME! :D

i absolutely LOVE this game!! i remember when i once bought the legacy edition after being mesmerized by this standard version, and this edition blew my mind even more!! i love the creativity that was imputed in this game, i never saw a game so realistic unlike this one:)

Unnecessarily difficult.

I hate that all the time you're born poor (i mean DIRT poor), and there's no way to change relationships with anyone. By age one iirc, the game assigns specific relationships and a lot of the time i end up hating everyone in my family by default. There is no way to change this. There is only 1 hang out option and it only works if you have a good relationship with the person and 99% of the time that is a laughable concept. Not enough time either- the first 18 years or so cannot be spent socializing or going out. Study, attend class, repeat. The minute you get into college your character is suddenly in a deep depression that cannot be wavered (huh! some of these are pretty accurate idk). Longest i survived was my early 30s and every single one of my deaths was due to suicide because everyone hated me and i was broke and homeless. The game gives you hints on characters liking you, you having crushes etc and the minute that is acted upon, my character suddenly hates their boyfriend/girlfriend. A lot of this needs to be fixed, aside from this it would be a nice game.

Hi genesisws, many of the things that help a person survive real life will work inside Play This Life. E.g. Having a good work-play balance, trying to date someone you are actually attracted to who is actually attracted to you too, having to spend money for maids and personal assistants to gain yourself more time, etc. And sometimes you just get a bad roll of dice that makes your life harder than everybody else's. That's life. Except in Play This Life, you get to try again. Hope this helps!

It’s great! But..

I really started to enjoy this game, but I feel like there needs to be more opportunities and ways for us to move out of the villages we live in especially in the free version, I unknowingly spent 10 years in Business Administration just to realize nothing has changed about my job, and they should add more jobs and maybe even we can become celebrities overall I enjoy the game just wish they treated the popular game with a bit more caution and more fun.

Games great but needs work.

Ok so I keep dying at the age of like mid 30's because of suicide. I don't like how we can't stop are characters from doing suicide. Also I want by to be able to stop from getting broken up with. I wish there was marriage counseling in here so I do not get a divorce. All in all pretty good game just needs tiny bit of work.

Hi Pencil, play people commit suicide when they get too unhappy, which usually happens when they don't have enough fun or love, live in toxic environments, are burnt out from work or studying all the time, etc (just like in real life). Try to get out of bad situations and give your play people some time off or fun every now and then to cheer them up and they should stop committing suicide. To avoid getting broken up with, try going on more dates with the right partner. Hope that helps! Thanks for playing Play This Life!

cant explain it but the feeling of a game that is so obviously homemade brings a smile to my face. unlike bitlife or other sims, you cant do everything all at once in one year and youre actually faced with hardship. pretty sick, keep updating man👍

Lots of Potential

I’ve been enjoying this game a lot. I like it’s art style and the portraits it gives characters. I love that your character can see their great grand children being born. And I like that the game is real, it’s very reminiscent of the early Realives games that emphasized how precious but also challenging life is, especially for those of us born into a position without resources.

However, it needs work, a better tutorial and more transparency for the player. I have no idea what my play character is good at or how certain things (like school subjects, courses, and cars) affect them/their future. I don’t know how to make my partners not break up with me which makes marriage impossible, and I can’t go back to see what text I missed when the year ended. I also feel like the housing and job situation could be a little bit easier. I will likely still purchase the full version to support the developers but I don’t think it’s a full game yet and could use some more tweaking. Still, I’m glad this game has been made and I found it. Hopefully more comes to it.

Love this game

I love this game! It’s a lot like other life simulators in some ways, but there is something really unique about it. It’s one of my favourite games. Also, it doesn’t require wifi, and has only a few ads that aren’t even annoying because they only happen every ten in-game years.

Huge Potential

The game is difficult at times and can be frustrating but I like games that are difficult haha but I do see huge potential in this game! I would like to see a bit more updates before I buy the game. I do have high expectations for this app so keep going :) please know I’m rooting for you!
