Service shut down without proper communication
I get it these things go kaput. But you would think that a cursory email to people subscribing would be sent instead of just a blog post that's no longer visible since the whole site seems to have gone poof. Stay classy

Can’t create account because my user or email is in use. Which one? I changed my username several times so I can only assume someone else is using my email

When switch out of the app or leave it playing from the lock screen the video cuts out to a black screen and I'm unable to get the video back

Needs Some “Tweaks”
I really want to like this app, but going to the site on the Internet offers more perks. You can increase the speed of the videos when you access the direct Playeur website. I just wish that an option for speed increase was available on the Playeur app…

App is too simple
The mobile app is far too simple, and it’s really hard to navigate. It feels cheap, small, and bare bones. I also don’t see any options to upload, if this platform hopes to compete with yt, it needs more features. There isn’t even an option to have an actual password, I need to use a code to log in.
Please add more features to the mobile version. I feel like this platform might someday have a chance of competing with yt, but it needs a lot of updates and features first.

No landscape mode
You can’t watch videos in landscape mode.
Seriously?
The app is fine in most other aspects, although there isn’t a dedicated settings page beyond notification management. I’m sure it will improve as the platform matures, but no landscape video is a dealbreaker for a YouTube alternative.

Bare Minimum Functionality
I want to switch away from youtube, but this app doesn’t function well enough to put up with on ios. I have a long list of suggestions, but let’s focus on these, first:
1) The settings won’t open. Ios safari says, “too many redirects “
2) I can’t watch videos in landscape mode. This makes landscape format videos too small to see.
3) Searching and navigating is arduous. So much that I become frustrated and quit trying sooner and sooner. Spend five minutes on any other app and try this one again. It is unbearable.

Decent app, can’t watch videos in landscape on iPhone
The app is pretty good, the only issue is that you can’t watch videos from a landscape perspective on iPhone as far as I’m aware.
Can not close channels after viewing.
Good layout but closing out channel doesn’t happen. Not enough people viewing platform don’t fool with them.
