Swipe right for Event Discovery :D
This app is like what happens when tinder 🔥 and meetup.com have a baby 🐣lol It is a great way to easily discover new events around you without having to hunt them down on Facebook, Eventbrite etc. Plus they are curated, ie not fake, and that’s important because I’ve went to happy hour events on Eventbrite, only to find that the host cancelled the event without telling anyone. There isn’t really another a good place to discover new stuff, let alone a place that suggests curated events to you in a deck based on what you like. Most are activism, wellness, music, and nightlife events. I like the swiping feature—right to add them into your calendar, left to dismiss ‘em. During covid it was nice to have a place to discover virtual events, but now they have IRL events too. My only complaint is that they don’t have gaming or sports events. Please add! Seriously great start on an innovative app, looking forward to new releases :)

This is such a wonderful app and enhances the New York experience! Im a native New Yorker and always weary of social media take over but what Playground does is use the ease of an app to support the true spirit of this city :)
