Every Time I Open The App And Tap On A Playlist, The App Closes. I Can’t Really Get Into The App Because It Always Closes
Did exactly what I needed it to
The app works in an unexpected way but it does work. My duplicates are gone and it wasn’t difficult or time-consuming to achieve. My playlists are back to normal!
What a disappointment
I just want an app to delete the duplicate songs on my iphone. ALL SONGS! Not in playlists - but in THE PHONE LIBRARY! Not iTunes library on my PC either. Not photos. JUST THE MUSIC ON MY IPHONE.

Worked and got rid of duplicates
With one negative review from 3 years ago I did take a bit of a risk downloading this app to get rid of the rogue duplicates that had suddenly appeared in my favourite playlist. I opened the app, selected the offending playlist, and it highlighted all the duplicates, and offered to create a new playlist without the dupes. In other words it does exactly what it claims to. Very well. I’ve no idea why apple don’t have this functionality built in, but this has saved me the hassle of having to set it all up in iTunes 👍👍

It works!!
I’m glad I actually didn’t get ripped off. It technically does remove all duplicate songs.. it just creates a new playlist. I had 1500 songs in a playlist. Searching for all the duplicates was gonna be a headache all night. Thank you!!
Does not work with playlist folders
I have all my playlists in folders. These folders just show up empty in the app. 🙁

Exactly what I needed.
Sometimes you add a song to a playlist, but you don’t realise that you already had it. And Apple Music never lets you know you are duplicating it (why, Apple, why?).
This tool solves the problem. No more duplicates of a song IN THE SAME PLAYLIST.

Only works for playlists doesn’t remove them just makes new list
Lame. Bare minimum functionality. Only works with playlists. Doesn’t delete or remove duplicate songs. It takes a playlist in which you may have added a duplicate song to and then this app scans it and makes a new playlist with just unique songs no dupes. For someone that just wants to remove duplicates from their music library permanently it doesn’t do that. Just creates a new playlist without dupes.

I wish I could have more information in the duplicates songs :
the rate of flow ( for example 24 bits ) and frequency ( for example 96 KhZ )

Works Quickly and Reliably!
This app finds and removes duplicates very quickly. And their support department was able to assist when I had an issue.
Don’t waste your money
Downloaded the app. And nothing! I still have to go through my playlist albums one by one and delete individual songs. I could have done that for free! Thanks for nothing. Enjoy spending my support money! Technology gods doing what they do best.

Came up with a blank screen with lines on it nothing worked
Exactly as advertised!
This tool removes song dups in your playlist and writes out a new playlist. The original song is not deleted and the original playlist is unaltered. For the complainers: it’s a dollar and does what it's supposed to. Already saved me a bunch of time!

Only removes songs from play list not library
If you’re looking for something to remove duplicate songs from your library this won’t do it, this just rewrite’s your playlist without the duplicate song but the duplicates are still in your library taking up space.
Gave a dollar away :-/

Did exactly what it said it would do
I had a playlist with hundreds of duplicates and no way to easily sort through them all. Downloaded this app, opened the playlist in question and all the duplicates were checked. Hit the delete button and a new playlist was created duplicate-free. I am glad I took the chance - saved hours of headaches.

Nothing happens
App opens a screen with “Playlists” at the top of a ruled page, and that’s it. No indication of anything happening. Developer, please help.

Playlist Tools works with your playlist library in the Apple Music application. You need to grant access to your music and media library. The app will prompt you to grant access, which please allow. Later, you can grant access in the Settings app, where please search the settings for Playlist Tools and allow to access to the music library. UPDATE: Please, contact me on App Support page.
