User reviews

Worth the payment

Most other services transfer the wrong album etc, this works perfect. Well worth the money, simple and effective

Good, but unfortunate pro purchase model, and a few bugs

App is very useful and efficient, but very unfortunate that there are different apps for practically the same function, requiring the user to purchase multiple pro versions of the app in order to transfer back and forth between music apps. Besides the purchasing model, the app does come with a very annoying bug where trying to view the songs you’re transferring just says “Operation can not be completed” over the details and album cover. This issue makes transferring very inconvenient, especially when trying to match songs to the right album cover.

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback. Our aim with Playlisty has always been to keep our user interface simple and our price low, by not loading up the app and charging users for services they don't need. This is why we have separate, very low cost versions for Apple Music and Spotify users. I hope you appreciate that most people choose Playlisty for precisely these reasons. We're also very sorry to hear the error message you were seeing - it's not something that's ever been reported before. We'd be extremely grateful if you could get in touch using the "Contact Us" button in the app so that we can look in to it.

AMAZING!! PREMIUM IS WORTH IT!!

Ive been making the switch to Spotify but didn’t want to lose my music from the last 10 years of Apple Music use. This app made it so incredibly easy and quick. It was super accurate too, 11/10 app. I now have all of my playlists (picture and all) and music saved! I just downloaded the app about 20 minutes ago (I had over 5,000 songs in playlists alone).

Matching OK

Matching algorithm for CSV neglects metadata from iTunes export that could help with matching: Composer, Album Artist, Year, Album, track duration, tack number. As a rest 1/5 of my music does not match and 1/3 needs hand matching to get the playlist moved over. iTunes playlist export has to be opened in excel and then re-saved as CSV for this program to recognize the artist field.

confusing.

I had trouble navigating the app. i was able to download my playlists on the app but when i would check my spotify to see if the playlists transferred over i couldn’t find them anywhere. there are no tutorials online anywhere to help. i even bought the pro version bc the reviews were saying it worked great. it could be user error. i just wish there was some sort of tutorial.
