Great App for Diatonic Sheet Music

I had difficulty with the app at first, but the PlayScore developer team was quick to lend a hand.

I did have difficulty scanning examples from Persichetti's Twentieth Century Harmony and Piston's Counterpoint, but the difficulty stemmed from: (1) The scans must be completely straight, in focus, and not distorted. My difficulty here was due to these books being hardbound and the pages hard to completely flatten. (2) I didn't know this, but the error correction assumes the music is diatonic. Persichetti's book is not at all about diatonic music. So, the developers suggested turning off error correction if the results were not correct. That worked.

Mentioning these in case others have these issues. All in all, the app does exactly as advertised.

ok to start off, genuinely sorry bout my last review.... it was a skill issue not an app issue.....🤦‍♀️. any way it is pretty great for getting the feel if a sheet. there are a few mess ups in each piece tho but its fine bc you know nothings perfect. to be honest tho i was kinda chuckling so hard last time i used it because it was playing one of my pieces and it was supposed to play an a.... it played the note but shot up like four octaves😂😂😂 i was genuinely dying laughing. but yea its really great!!😊 yet again sorry about my last review 😚😚
