Bad app
They will not issue refunds for games you can’t play. Bought a game that can’t be played unless I buy a PS plus subscription so the game is unplayable. I called a few hours later for a refund they said my fault

Capture bot uploading
It’s kinda crazy how broken capture upload is if it’s not stuck uploading it’s stuck downloading and keeping your ps5 busy trying to reupad the file over and over is broke fix it plz
New low for Sony
Sony continues to make every decision in bad faith with only greed in mind and at the direct expense of the community it helped build decades ago with the first PlayStation. Their attempts to monopolize video games reaching a new desperate low by announcing they will discontinue physical media forcing gamers to purchase direct from Sony free of any competition from any third party retailers.

This review is nothing to do with the PlayStation app, but everything to do with Sony’s tactics moving forward with digital only purchases.
I have owned every PlayStation released, however now that they want us to be locked into buying games from their store, the ps5 will be the last console for me.
I don’t want to move to the PC platform and have to deal with windows, but if it means I have choice then so be it.

Playstation doesn’t care about its customers
I bought a playstation 5 with a physical disc drive because of the of the effort that playstation put into their 1st person games during the Ps4 generation. I was sadly disappointed with the overall game offering during the current generation, Hardly anything worth playing and needing to go back yo last generation to find things that are good and interest me.
I want physical games and will sometimes go back and play games from my childhood on the OEM. I want to be able to play the original games. The current leadership at PlayStation cares nothing for us owning these games and can play them even a few years from now. I am disgusted lack of response from your customers that we still want Physical Games, Then will only answer their Shareholders. I understand that you need your make a Profit and am happy to pay a reasonable price for good, quality, and complete games that I will own and can play when I want to. Stop with the greed and keep physical games alive.

Play Has Limits
After recent decisions, I’m leaving the PS ecosystem. The platform does not justify itself. Also, app was constantly logging me out.
Avoid this app and company
Sony used to be so good but they’ve turned into a litigious, predatory, and anti-consumer company. They just want your money and hate having to provide anything in return. PlayStation got nearly thirty years of loyalty from me but that’s all done now. Sony is just evil.

I love this app
The issue I am having though, is that the search function is bugged right now and they haven’t patched it. Been like this for at least a month. Removed a few stars in the hopes that someone will see since I’ve never seen an easy way to report this kind of thing to playstation. Will update review once this is seen. I absolutely love this app otherwise though.
