Good for finding matches but bad support
It’s a good one stop shop to find matches nearby you. However the support is limited, and they allow some users to arbitrarily leave matches early well not allowing other players to leave matches at the same time for the same reason.
Very disappointing first experience
Very disappointing experience, especially as a first-time user.
I booked a private padel game for 4 players, but only 2 of us joined. I assumed the booking would automatically be cancelled if the 4 players weren’t confirmed, as this is how other padel apps work. Unfortunately, Playtomic does not work this way, and I ended up paying £22 for a session we cannot use.
I contacted Playtomic support several times, but they were unable to offer a refund or even Playtomic credit as a goodwill gesture, and simply referred me back to the club’s cancellation policy.
I understand that policies exist, but I think this should be much clearer during the booking process, especially for first-time users. Unfortunately, this experience has made me think twice about using Playtomic again.

App is great, rating system terrible
The app works really well and is very easy to use. The massive downside is the algorithm for ratings. You get punished for taking on harder games and rewarded for taking on easier ones. Easy 5* if they fixed this, it’s so frustrating.

Why did I pay?
So I paid for premium and nothing happened and I keep getting asked to become premium member. WTF.??
Pending on split payment
My biggest issue with Playtomic is how it handles split payments.
When you split the cost between four players, it places a holding charge on the remaining players’ shares. Even after everyone has paid and the match has been played, that hold can stay on your account for up to a week.
My question is: what’s the point?
It’s incredibly frustrating when I want to book another game but won't because money is still being held from a match that was fully paid for and finished days ago. It makes no sense and really needs fixing.

Seems odd that you just play cat and mouse over results until the last person beats you to putting in the score they want

Unable to update the app due to not having the latest IOS update & my phone won’t update any further!😠Why can’t you still be able to access the last available app version? How do I book a court now?
Poor customer service
The app has its limitations when booking a court. Card gets charged without a heads up on what you didn’t sign up for.

I never write reviews… they charged me for a full court even tho I selected to pay half, so I then tried to contact them endlessly and there is no way of doing it whatsoever!! There chatbot just says no humans are ever available for this topic. Absolute disgrace. Ignore the 5 star reviews. These have no customer support whatsoever

Könnt ihr bitte einstellen, dass ich wenn ich ein Spiel teile, die Leute zu erst sehe denen ich folge und nicht mit denen ich zuletzt gespielt habe. Das nervt schon immer ein bisschen…
