Broken and useless
It was last updated 4 years ago and it doesn’t work, but it does keep asking if I like the app. The answer is no.
Lag time unacceptable
Several times I have noticed discrepancies between the bar graph of the AQI that is about 4 to 8 hours old and what was the posted AQI for that time period. I find the app to be unreliable for planning walks or opening several times I have noticed discrepancies between the paragraph of the AQI that is about 48 hours old and what was the post AQI for windows to get fresh air into my home.

Inaccurate and Buggy
The app does not let me view the data sources. It’s incredibly buggy and closes out when I try to see a different view. It also has opposite forecast’s to AirVisual, which is more transparent and trusted.

No surprise as it hasn’t been updated in 3 years but it can’t find my location
Nothing works
Has this service shutdown? I can’t find street view, and I keep getting invited to clink a link that advertises a device (Flow) which were then told has been discontinued
Very handy for planning but doesn’t automatically refresh
The app has all the air quality info you need to plan your day but doesn’t automatically refresh its day, time and AQI displays, nor does it seem to respond to the industry-standard down swipe for this purpose. I find myself having to quit and restart the app just to update the displays.
Notifications are broken
The app is helpful but notifications are grayed out and can’t be turned on, despite notifications for the app being enabled in settings.

Inaccurate and unreliable
I got this for the air quality forecasts, but they’re not accurate according to Plume’s own graphs. The readings are also wildly different from 2 IQAir air monitors nearby, esp for PM 2.5.
The Only App So Far That Delivers Accurate AQI Readings
Living in the Yucatán, dust comes and goes on the Tradewinds from North Africa and I know when the dust is at high levels, even inside the house, which can be terrible at times. There is no other app in comparison to this one, that provides the accuracy needed to prepare for these dust events. I have been testing different apps, mainly weather apps, for the last couple of years, and those figures are way off- There is a huge difference, mostly showing very low AQI figures, when the air quality, obviously, is very poor.

Frequently inaccurate
I frequently found the data different enough from other air quality data in the area to quit using this app. Unfortunate because the app itself is great … but not if the data is questionable
Doesn’t work in Australia
If the app allowed data from purpleair and sensor community they could easily make this a global app. When I logged in it had my local AQI very high. I’m guessing it was probably using the nearest sensor… on another continent!
Nice design, often inaccurate
While I appreciate the app's sleek and elegant design, the information and data on it is often misleading and flat out incorrect.
As others have stated, the AQI is often underestimated. If you were to depend solely on this app for information about the quality of your air, you could risk putting your health and that of your loved ones at risk.
That being said, I am still reinstalling this app, as it is sometimes helpful (when it happens to be somewhat correct) and pleasant to look at.
