This app hasn’t been updated 3 years, and most of the help articles you’ll find online about with smart home integrations like Alexa and Apple are from 2022. As users are seeing increasing issues with the app features (failed connections, freezing, unable to access support), it’s clear the company has no plans to make further improvements to this product line or interface.
The company (Lumiman) no longer seems to sell their smart bulbs in the States, even on Amazon. Essentially, any Americans like myself who purchased these smart bulbs years ago are SOL.
My Lumiman bulbs are basically just regular lightbulbs now and this app has been consistently unreliable. Looking forward to switching these final few devices over to Phillips Hue to have a cohesive system in my home soon and be done with the PlusMinus app once and for all.

Freezes, can’t click around, uninstalled 10x still doesn’t work, can’t contact support, can’t use my lightbulbs… trash app, trash devs, trash products.
Lights
The app has been good for last few years. But lately, say I want to turn the light green it’ll be red and won’t switch to green when on green color.
Get a refund asap
Not worth the hassle, sometimes it will work perfectly fine and the next day everything will just break on its own.
Does not work with Alexa
The Alexa Skill can not connect anymore; can operate the plug with their app, not Alexa.
Won’t sync with Alexa
All my Alexa automation routines are useless now. I used to have all my exterior lights turn on and off with the sunset/sunrise. Now I get home at night and it’s completely dark. Not cool guys. Please fix this issue.

Suddenly won’t work
Suddenly my lightbulbs that I’ve been using for over a year won’t work with my Alexa. I can’t link them again. I can only control them using my phone. Pretty much makes them useless.
FIX YOUR APP
Worked well with Alexa integration for YEARS until it stop working. Tried disabling the app and reconfiguring the lights, only to be met with “we are unable to enable the skill at this time.”
Waste of money and time. SMH.

Was great till last week
Hurt up and fix it can’t redone t to Amazon keeps failing can’t get it to work and it’s not just me there’s loads of people saying the same thing please sort it out

This was working well; the the wifi plugs connected to Alexa - but recently stopped working; the Skill can not connect anymore
Horrible
This app has gotten worse over time. Now linking to Alexa is completely broken. Light bulbs constantly need to be paired. Pairing takes 15-30 minutes depending on how lucky you are. Don’t waste your time and money.
Alexa Support Stopped
In the past few days, all my LUMIMAN Bulbs stopped working with Alexa. I have about 30 of the A19 bulbs. Color change stopped, on and off stopped. These Bulbs have performed well for about 4 years plus. I have yet to have one burn out.
Not working
No updates for over two years and I assume this is the reason it’s not working since I’ve got upgraded to iOS 26

Easy to use! So fun! Easy to install! Makes lighting fun & relaxing or whatever scene you’re going for! Love it! Will be buying more to replace a different brand that isn’t even half as good! Excellent! *cozy*

When it works, it’s great
When it works, it’s great. The problem is that multiple times a year, I lose the ability to use any of my pre-sets and color options and then after weeks, the options will randomly appear again. Nothing I can do fixes it. No app updates, no delete and reinstall, nothing!
Used to be reliable
This app used to be reliable. Twice now in the past year scene selection has been none functional tried emailing support but no response beginning to wonder if ther is any support at all !!
