Horrible update
Please change it back. You sat in your description that it’s less scrolling and more watching. You can’t easily scroll anymore. Therefore it’s making it harder to get to what we want to watch. I even have my favorites and I can’t even changes easily back and forth within the favorites tab. Please change it back!

The latest update …
Had removed most of my favorite channels, and I can’t re add any. On the classical channels , for some reason I can’t expand the screen …. I hope this gets fixed soon because it seems like the convenience has been extremely limited 😭
Please fix this issue. I’ve already tried contacting “customer service” - which by the way is AI and not an actual person , and that doesn’t resolve the issue. It’s such a sad shame that an app that I used to enjoy has gone downhill. It will have to be plex and tubi for now until this situation gets fixed 😢.

WAS THE BEST, NOW ITS USELESS AND UGLY!
This app was the most popular and best streaming app in existence, but since it’s latest update, the new format is disgustingly ugly compared to before and it won’t cast too smart TVs from iPhones using Chromecast so don’t bother wasting your time with this stupid app anymore. It’s now useless.. seriously what a bunch of morons there are running this app to take the beat app ever & make it ugly & useless. Deleting it, don’t waste ur time downloading it

New layout is worse than the previous one!
I use an IPAD Air 4th Gen. I would ask Siri to open the app to play on the last channel I was watching… no longer works. Navigating now is worse.
In the previous version, the only thing I had to put up with that I was never able to sort my favorite list of all the channels I favorited!
You would have to put your last choice first into memory and end with the most viewed channel last. It would be nice to have a list of 50 channels or more… and your most watched channel into channel #1 and then add down the list.
Then maybe have an other option for automatically listing the ones you watch most to the top of the list based on channels watched over time.
The default sorting of the channels was one way to find your channel faster before.
Some of the commercials for PlutoTV has had very choppy poor audio. (Some setting must of gotten set wrong.)
I have enjoyed PlutoTV for years cause of not able to afford Cable TV, and can’t get over the air shows where I live. So this app was my main go to IPAD App.
Too bad you people don’t do testing of your newer layouts with a group of users of this app. to get feedback before rolling out a new layouts… have people test things out beforehand. If you haven’t done so already.

Ruined it!
This was a great app for live tv that I’ve been using for years until a couple of days ago. All of a sudden I wasn’t able to scroll through my favorite channels without mandating now that I go through the guide. I knew exactly what channels followed what. This was extremely important to me due to being severely visually impaired.
Tonight I go to the guide looking for something to listen to (visual impaired) and discover that 3/4 of my favorites are gone! Struggling to see the tiny print of the channels to favorite them again I find I can no longer do that! We are limited on favs now? And to really top it off, many of the channels that I use to watch don’t even exist now!
What’s next? A subscription fee!?

Live TV Menu Bar
Since the latest update, when you’re watching Live TV, the top menu bar that shows “Home “, “Live TV”, the magnifying glass, and profile icon WILL NOT disappear. Even when the screen view is maximized. This ruins the viewing experience by having a menu bar with bright white letters when watching your show or movie. Fix the app to remove the continuously present top menu bar. It’s not needed. This is an issue for iPad at least.

Bad Release
The latest release of your app is an absolute horror. Slow, laggy, completely unresponsive, destroys Apple TV responsiveness.Absolutely atrocious development work.
App has been reformatted
Since this app has been reformatted, I have been having trouble with it. For example, sometimes the movie or show I’m watching turns black, and I only have sound. Sometimes it freezes. I have an iPhone 16 Pro, so I know it’s not a problem relating to my device. Please return to the original format.

The Manchurian Pluto
9/20/26: Take everything people want and do the opposite. The interface is clunky and not intuitive AT ALL! The channels, well you can hardly see them and only 2 at a time. Less scrolling, more streaming? Yah - that is opposite too. Someone didn’t get the memo! Oh, and for the recent reviews saying how great it is? They just have not yet updated their app or system. I just did and boy I wish I hadn’t!!!
Favorites? What are those - they’re scrambled now. And having the categories at the top? What were you thinking? I can’t even imagine why you made all these changes and every one of them makes things worse. I can’t find anything I’m looking for and it is not because I just need to get used to it.

since update actually waaay more scrolling because only one or two shows fit on iphone screen, and have lost ability to cast which renders this app as worthless to me

Absolutely love Pluto tv. I never heard of this app until recently and now it’s been a fav, the ads are short and it’s free to watch anything so it’s a win win in my book!!
Terrible streaming
Worst operating system I’ve ever seen in a streaming service. Even with great service it’ll disconnect, skip minutes ahead through a show for no reason, and buffering takes forever. But the ads play perfectly because of course they need to pay for the service. Biggest waste of time only to bring me massive frustration.

Constant app interface changes are annoying
Why must the developers constantly alter the way the app functions? It makes it difficult to find shows I am watching and navigate around when they are constantly screwing around with the interface. It is very annoying. And now closed captioning is gone. Nicely done, idiots.
Gotten Worse
It’s difficult to complain about something that is free so it’s more of an opinion. The older version of Pluto for my daily usage was superior to the newly released version a few weeks ago. The guide on the older version loaded quickly. The new version takes between 15-25 seconds to load. The guide now only gives you a few seconds to make a choice before it goes back to the active show before you have to go back through the scrolling again. The older version held on the guide. It’s difficult to decide especially if you are reading what the show or episode is about before you need to quickly make a choice. Go back to requiring a button push to clear the guide or extend the guide active duration longer. I noticed with the new release many of the local news stations have now disappeared. I have two Roku players which no longer play the shows on Pluto before stopping requiring the play button to constantly be pushed. I’ve even uninstalled and reset the Roku prior to downloading Pluto agin and didn’t fix the issue therefore I cannot watch Pluto on these TV’s any longer. One of them played Pluto 24/7.
Again complaining about something that’s free is difficult but let’s say the previous free app and setup seemed to work well compared to what I’m sure cost money to develop and change and work less efficient in my household.
