Why it matters: The old Plutus was constrained by our card provider's roadmap. Every product idea had to clear an issuer, a processor, and a banking relationship before it reached you, or be phased out due to missing features. Now, you get uninterrupted access to rewards and utilities that no longer rely on a third-party card provider. The new Plutus ships today what the old Plutus took quarters to negotiate. Returning this summer: Currently in R&D phase, we are planning a release of the new card features with multi-currency support, new ways to send and receive funds, expanded regional availability, and previously missing basics like Apple Pay.
