Best way to discover podcasts
Great app for podcast listening and discovery.
Sometimes podcast progress between devices seems hit and miss and podcast album art sometimes goes blank in Apple CarPlay.
Maybe Claude can help to fix those bugs? 🤖

ではサブスクリプター（？‥有料会員）です（前の要件は削除して‥）では改めて…ポッドキャストのページ‥新旧順の入れ替え…出来ませんかね…。
新しいのを聴けるには嬉しいのですが…いかんせん…話（脈絡）が追いつけないので‥（前に記述した‥）ストレージとの関係性から渋々削除してます。
これでは有料会員の意味を成さ無いので…頼みませんですかね‥希望のチャンネル次第では‥旧新の入替（いれかえ）機能の設置（設定）を…。

Ran through a roster of apps before settling for this one. Clean, simple, and great discovery angle as well.
Would be nice to disable the mini player
Not sure if the devs actually use the app themselves but I can't imagine having the mini player moving around between the bottom row and expanding to another row being a good user experience.
Update: based on developer feedback, yes - turning off the minimize on scroll option in appearance helps. However, the reason I never thought to check that setting is the "plus" sign next to it. As I am not a plus subscriber, I naturally assumed the option is locked behind subscription.

Super ap
Ça commence à faire longtemps que j’utilise Pocket Casts et j’en suis toujours très satisfaite, l’interface est claire et j’ai toujours trouvé ce que je cherchais.
Amazing, but one question:
I absolutely adore Pocket Casts. The layout, the functionality, everything. I only have one question though! Will there be any chance of support for Meta?
I'm not a huge AI fan but I got gifted a pair of their glasses and would love to listen to podcasts on them, but I hate using Apple Podcasts and Spotify isn't worth my time. Thank you for everything! :)

My favorite but what an awful update!
The simplest interface and NOT Apple or others, I’ve loved it for years. New update, however, makes the playback function smaller and off center to display the podcast thumbnail during playback, and, why? Everything used to be one click away, now to access my downloads, I have to click the “Grid” button to bring up my functions showing “Profile”. Why, guys? I want to use your product to play back podcasts, why is it now harder to do that with one tap? Why is it harder to move around in them because the second most important part of a pod catcher (playback controls) are shrunk and move around with taps to get to other things? But, super cool we got a Liquid Glass update. I absolutely haven’t turned off that stuff from the first second. I really enjoy it being harder to see what I’m doing on my phone. Excelsior!!

Lots of crashes
Crashes every time it gets backgrounded after a few seconds. Terrible experience walking around with bluetooth headphones or in the car.
Best free podcast app available
I have tried quite a few of these different podcast apps and this is the best. You can search within feeds and create your own playlists; it has customizable skip durations; you can reorganize/reverse feeds by date played, release date etc; it’s stable and doesn’t glitch itself into oblivion, its feature rich, minimal and sleek.

New update bad UI
The UI in the new update doesn’t make sense. They made icons smaller. You unnecessarily need to do three taps to get to the up next queue, which used to be available from whatever screen your on. Unnecessarily moved close window with clear queue.

New design is bad
The new design is not great, especially the insanely microscopic Now Playing bar. Please give an option to revert to a version that is usable.
The only thing worse than the UI changes is how buggy the CarPlay app is now. As a developer I have no idea how bugs this bad weren’t caught in testing. Was this not tested at all?! Play randomly starts and stops, tapping a podcast in a queue sometimes starts it playing like it used to and sometimes just opens it in Now Playing without starting it. The whole thing is wildly inconsistent and buggy.

I love pocket cast. This is best app for any podcast lover. I have one request though. In android when you open a show all the episodes comes up with artwork with them on the side. I have turned on the artwork option on the ios. It comes when I play the episode but not while I browse the episodes. It is not a big thing I know but makes the app even better. And since the feature exists in Android I believe it shouldn't be any hassle to you. Thank you for making this beautiful app.

Great only one flaw
Love this app best that I have tried. Only problem with it is that lately when downloading episodes or when just hitting play it will warn that I’m not on WiFi even though I am on WiFi. If I turn cellular data off it just downloads or plays from WiFi. I wish it give this false warning. Minor I know but annoying just the same.

Used to be great, then Liquid Glass happened
I’ve used Pocket Casts for years. It’s always been a fantastic app with a beautiful, thoughtful UI. And then the Liquid Glass update landed. Now core app controls, already with tiny text, sit semi-transparently atop podcast artwork. And guess what podcast artwork contains a lot of? Text. It’s become an unreadable mess and an accessibility nightmare.
The whole Liquid Glass fiasco was intended to stop app chrome (menus, buttons, etc.) “getting in the way” of content. This is bad enough in visually content-rich apps like Photos but here it’s nonsensical. A grid of podcast artwork isn’t the content, that’s the menu. THE AUDIO IS THE CONTENT.
Apple is already starting to row back on its Liquid Glass experiment in iOS 27. Time for Pocket Casts to get ahead of the curve and be a great UX pioneer again.

In the next version, 8.15, we're bringing larger mini-player controls plus extra blur behind the tab bar on the Podcasts screen to improve legibility over busy artwork.
