Wonderfully simple, remarkably effective

Most expense apps overcomplicate things with bloated dashboards and intrusive ads. Pocket Clear does the opposite: it gives you a clean slate, instant entry, and clear insights into your cash flow.

After five months of consistent daily use, it has completely streamlined how I track my spending. It’s rare to find an app that respects your time and privacy this well. Easily a 5-star essential on my home screen.

Very flexible

I needed a straightforward no nonsense expenses tracker that I could manually update without requiring connectivity to my bank, and this app matches that perfectly. It’s very flexible and you can set it up pretty much how you like with sub categories within main categories and easily set up regular payments to appear automatically. The reports option also provides a great summary of spending broken down by category. All in all a really useful app at a very reasonable price.

Very simple

First time ever I have tracked all my spending. Allows me to see at a glance if I have stuck to my weekly budget and see where my money has gone in a simple pie chart, love it !

Private and Functional

No unnecessary data collection and a functional minimalist design. Fair pricing, just 1€ a month for the premium features. But the free version also works for most. You pay transparently with your money and not your data.

Thank you — you've described the trade I actually made. There's no advertising business here and nothing to gain from collecting more than the app needs, so the app doesn't. Best app ever

I’ve downloaded this app, and is so awesome, I’m still getting use to use budgets so this app makes it so easy, I really recommend it 100% oh and don’t forget, the section that says ‘budget’ within settings is where you set the amount for your categories of your budget. Again I really recommend this app I really like the design and colors of the interface of this budget app.

Hi Suraj — I think the banner gave the wrong impression, so let me clear it up. Pocket Clear itself is free, permanently. Not free for a month. Unlimited transactions, your own categories, the reports and full offline use don't cost anything and won't start to. "First month free" refers to Pro, a separate optional upgrade for extras like syncing across your devices and sharing with a partner. It's a free trial of that upgrade, not of the app. Ignore it entirely and nothing stops working, nothing gets locked, and you're never asked for a card. Sorry that wasn't clearer from the banner alone — that one's on us, and I'll get the wording sorted. If you want to ask anything, hello@pocketclear.app comes straight to me.

No place to record the merchant/Payee

I need to be able to track where I am spending my money and where the money is coming from.

Do not use this app.

Their website links users to a fake app store page with fake reviews, and they do not genuinely delete data, seeing as I deleted my account then signed up with the same credentials and my transaction history was still there.

Great app

The apps great, it could be better if you could add some more details and customizations in reports section. For example when we touch a bar or poe chat chart it shows the actual value, stuff like that

You're absolutely right—being able to tap a bar or pie slice in Reports to see its exact value would make the charts much more useful, and that's exactly the kind of improvement we want to make. Good news: we're planning to add interactive charts in our first July release. You'll be able to tap on bars and pie chart slices to view their exact values.
