Great App, Fantastic Developer!

This is a great app and the developer is even better. The app takes a little bit of experience to use efficiently, but the benefits are worth the effort. The app does everything you really need it to do, including text and file encryption/decryption. The developer listens to their users and even accepts comments and suggestions with a can-do attitude, level of respect, and willingness to improve their app like no other app developer I have ever experienced. I want to buy app’s from this developer just to support them. Hey, I’m the first to complain about an app or a developers’ attitude, but I’m also the first to compliment them.

Thank you very much for this incredibly kind review. I really appreciate both your support and the time you have taken to provide helpful feedback. Comments like this are a huge motivation for me to keep improving Pocket-PGP.

To Anyone PGP Software Hunting:

IT’S RIGHT HERE!

was more than happy to buy Premium once I tested it somewhat.

This is the first PGP app I have downloaded where my imported key worked (Not everyone uses RSA) and displayed the correct information on input. I am grateful for the ECC support all in itself.

Nothing quite like it in the App Store. At first glance, it looks questionable (I’ve been let down so many times) but then the features unfold and the efficiency begins to ooze… it deserves Five Stars.

Love your work, so far! Will there be a plain SHA signature option in the near future?

EDIT: I see where you say you can sign/verify, but I cannot seem to find the option to only sign text with an encrypted signature.

EDIT 2: That was fast — and it works perfectly! (You can ignore my question in that previous submission. My brain derped for a moment.)

Thank you so much, this really means a lot. It is especially nice to hear this from someone who clearly knows encryption and PGP well. Support for ECC keys was very important to me, so I’m really glad that worked properly for you. And yes, you are absolutely right about sign-only text. That is something I plan to add in the next update. Realistically, I expect to have it ready within 1–2 weeks, and I’m going to prioritize it now that I know it is something people want. Thank you again for the kind words and for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. EDIT: I’m really glad to hear that the solution worked as intended. =) I also know the current iPad experience still has some rough edges, and I’m actively working on a fully native version of the app. That should make the overall experience much smoother and better across the board.
