I’ve been asked to find an inexpensive Photobooth and this app sure meets our financial goals and it is so much fun. Instead of being stationary you can walk around and take different photos and live stream them to any streaming device. My wife is doing it and loves it.

Not A Fan Of The Updated Version
The original version was great you could use it on the go almost like a point and shoot camera. Now you have to set up an event to even take one picture. All my old photo strips are gone now too no warning that they would be lost once I updated. I also had the paid subscription. If there was a way to revert back I would in a heartbeat.

This app is so much fun and being able to do it in the comforts of your favorite places without it costing an arm and a leg!!! Give it a try, I think you’ll really like it!!!
Just awful after update
This used to be one of the best apps I had absolutely loved. It had so much fun with it with family with friends because you could just pick it up and immerse yourself in a Photo Booth with the four pictures that came out at the end like an old proper Photo Booth now you have to create an event that starts taking pictures the moment you created and the photos don’t save anywhere it’s just absolutely awful and the worst part is all the photos that I had in my original PocketBooth have all gone absolutely awful. One star is too generous.

Loved the old version way better
I’ve used this app for over a decade and loved the simplicity of the Photo Booth feel. Now the app has completely changed. It’s too complicated, I don’t want to make an event every time I just want to take a photo. Extremely bummed with the new changes should have just created a separate new app.
Destroyed the old interface with trash
The former iteration off this app was designed beautifully. Exactly what it needed to be. A vintage style photobooth. I lost all my camera roll when the app updated. I’m rather devastated.
Crashes every time I try and edit template
Love using it but sadly template options are limited and they’re impossible to edit cause the app crashes
Not worth it!!
We had this to use for a 16th birthday party, had everything set up, started a 7dayfree trial, took many practice photos to make sure it all worked perfect. On the day, we got it all set up and the kids took pictures and it didn’t save any of them and kept glitching and refreshing and taking us out of the app! I am incredibly disappointed!!! Do not use!!!!

The app won’t load templates and let me start an event. It won’t even take photos without an event. Older iPad, so maybe that’s an issue. Still, no support, either.

Great potential
Would be amazing if it worked. But it crashes continually, does not load the templates and just plain doesn’t work.
They broke the app on purpose
The app used to be perfect and now all in app purchases have been removed and the app keeps crashing. Never use this developer for any apps. Shady practices!!!
App is Faulty
The app keeps glitching and kicking me out. It can’t process its own templates. You can’t use the app without signing up for the subscription first. I would hate for someone to pay a subscription for an app that doesn’t work.
What a shame!
I had this app for ever. The new version deleted all the in app purchases I had brought. All the fun cameras and filters I’ve bought are all gone. Honestly the app was great before not you CAN’T even use it!! What a disappointment!! Sometime new isn’t always better!!!
Very simple
The app says you can customize the backgrounds but the customization is very limited. Interface is very user unfriendly.
It was the least of expensive but you get what you pay for.
Would not recommend unless you just want a plain white background or a few preset options they had to choose from.
Ended up buying a subscription for more expensive service that offered more flexibility.

So simple, so good
I don’t often feel the urge to write a review for an app but this is an app I have had in my phone for years and it never lets me down. It’s simple to use, easy to customise and always seem to get great photos.
If I want to print the photo strips it is super easy to organise but can also save them yo camera roll if preferred.
This app has never missed a beat and it’s one I use very regularly.

App used to be great is now awful
Totally changed the app now it’s awful, hard to use, and takes poor quality photos. Please change it back
Where are my photos? 💔
This used to be my favourite photo app for around 15 years. I’m devastated that all my Pocketbooth photos have disappeared with this new version of the app. What have you done? 😭 I had so many photos of memories in the app. Sadly, I didn’t download all of them to my photos. The app worked perfectly before. 💔💔
