User reviews

One of the best (updated)

My original review was posted after a particularly bad bug caused the app to constantly “forget” my pro upgrade, forcing me to do a restore every time I started the app. The developer has now corrected the issue, and I can report my initial impression of the app’s excellent feature set. I really appreciate the smart implementation of the Bluetooth ranging and monitoring. The presentation is clean and easy to understand, and doesn’t suffer from the chaotic list “bouncing” exhibited by most apps in its class. Highly recommended.

One of the best (except…)

In most ways, this is the nicest of the bt apps I’ve evaluated. Great presentation, good accuracy (though this is mostly dependent on the iOS APIs, not the app per se), clean UI. But it suffers from a really egregious value-killer. It presents the paywall EVERY TIME THE APP RESTARTS. I don’t even have to actually do a Restore, if I wait out the timed close button (ugh, really?) and simply dismiss the view, it correctly detects my pro version. Turns out it’s faster to do the (unnecessary) Restore just to dismiss the paywall immediately. I have deleted, reinstalled, and Restored multiple times hoping there was just some flag-setting race condition that was causing the issue, but it doesn’t help. As nice as the app is otherwise, this is a terrible, annoying, UNACCEPTABLE coding error.

Response from developer

sorry for experiencing that :(, it has been fixed since your report.

Very cool

I can actually find my lost items … it’s like playing a game of hot and cold because who for time to turn on the “Find my iPhone” app and actually WAIT for it to turn on …

Found My Apple Eatbuds

After looking for my earbuds, getting frustrated I wasn’t finding them; I thought I had were lost. I then found and downloaded this app. It was a life saver! It was easy to use and found my earbuds in a matter minutes (one floor below from where I started and out of sight).
