Crashes

I download a podcast and when its finally download, I hit save and the app crashes! I've tried this multiple times and wasted way too many minutes trying to figure this out. Wasted money.

Archive.org support

I don’t know if it’s possible to integrate archive.org into this app. A podcast I loved that longer has an active site, but exists on IA.

Can’t save

Waited 5 mins to download around 300 episodes. The in app purchase popped up to save them for $6, I figured it’s worth it. Paid, but when I try to hit save the app just crashes every time. Disappointed because this would be amazing and simple if it worked but I paid for nothing.

It works….to an extent

Trying to download an entire rss feed with about 280 episodes works. It takes time, but it works. The app then takes you to a screen that says it’s been divided into two batches; one with 200 episodes and one with 80. When you press download the app crashes. So all the waiting is a complete waste of time. I’m not sure what the download limit is. Sometimes 20 episodes works. Sometimes downloading more or less episodes fails. And it even sometimes says failed but has then downloaded some of the episodes. So then you have to figure out which episodes are missing and start over.
All in all the app has a fantastic feature, but I’d just love for it to work flawlessly and a big plus would be if you could choose where to save it before downloading it.
The app has now had this bug for several months. I sincerely hope it gets fixed very soon! The way it is now it becomes a tedious and annoying process to download many episodes. If you’re only downloading a few you’ll be fine. If you’re downloading a lot then prepare to experiment and experience crashes.

Simple, no frills, worked perfectly for my needs.

True to the label - not a player or manager - simply saves the source audio files to your desired storage.

Just what I needed!
Happy to pay for a tool just does the job with no hassles and no data collection/tracking.

Saves the episodes as audio files to your chosen location, in my case I pasted an RSS url and it downloaded the selected episodes as mp3s to my cloud files.
I didn’t use the search feature so can’t comment on that.

My only suggestion is to add a history of episodes already processed, so when returning later to download further episodes, you can see at a glance which episodes you have already from that show, without needing to check your files separately.

Thanks dev!

Great App

This app allows you to play your podcasts wherever you like. Has a great search feature and very rarely do I need to add a manual URL, but nice to have that option. My only request would be either to allow bookmarks of podcast feeds to return to later or permit the share option so I can keep a list in Notes and then share to the app.

Great app

Wonderful app for specific RSS, could we have the same managed url options like in your Podcast Archiver app?

Scam

Will try to steal banking info

Response from developer

This is not true. Spam comment

Great app

Wonderful app for specific RSS, only small suggestion would be to be able to see recent searches/rss or save specific rss feeds

Thanks, nice app

Runs fine on my Mac. I needed some actual mp3 files of certain podcasts. Works great. Thanks!

Finally podcast to Mp3 on iOS!

First iOS app I've found that will save a podcast stream as an mp3 file. Invaluable if you want to listen to the podcast using an iOS mp3 app that supports an equalizer and fully variable playback speeds. Perfect for turning an otherwise unpleasant sounding podcaster and/or guest into something better tuned to the preferences of the listener.
