I don’t know anyone would give this 5 stars?!
I’ll give this app a 2 star rating because it lags so much takes forever to listen to a new episode from my podcast and worst of to just even navigate on the app is a slow nightmare. I want to like this app but how can I if it’s constantly lagging with bugs. Feels like the developer made this app and never bothered to have any updates for this app. Just please fix it if not I guess this is my goodbye

Very nice podcast player!
Love the player interface, does it the right way. Search is interesting, find unusual podcasts, but sometimes missed popular podcasts too. Having rss import is very nice. Only thing really missing really, seemed to be ompl import and export, hopefully these will be added soon
Very nice, but…
This podcast player has one of the very nicest looking interfaces I’ve seen. Really nice. I love way the podcast art is displayed, large and colorful. It also displays the episode art very nicely. A lot of podcast players don’t do this yet, need to get with this, many podcasters put special artwork, different for each episode. I wish I had control over how often it updates. It doesn’t say how often it does. Search is interesting, comes up with stuff I’d never seen before, but nothing I have. Needs ompl import, all podcast apps should have this anymore. RSS import though, works flawlessly. Great app, keep working on it.

Almost perfect, if it weren’t for the bugs
Truly been navigating for a podcast app with great interface and organization while providing a wide range of podcasts, including the smaller ones. This one has been the best, but, there are various issues with the coding that are making it hard for me to enjoy it fully. 1) Whenever I type the name of a less known podcast, it doesn’t show up in the results… I have to look up the podcast online to get a link that directs me to the Podvine app (huh..?) 2) The audio. If I’m listening and I enter another app that disables the podcast audio, it’s a hassle to get the audio back after hitting play. It either freezes or the app just shuts down. Having to just close and open the app various times during the day to fix this also dampens the experience. I also noticed that it’s been a while since there’s been an update, so I hope that maybe these things can be addressed so that I can start using it. I’ll stick to Pocket Casts once these things are addressed
