Beware: Does NOT save your poems
Keeps deleting my work. Does not save anything I write. Three different projects on three different occasions. Each time I reopen the app, poof... no saved documents. Utterly useless.
Do NOT Pay for this!
I am assuming the app has been abandoned. Paying the $0.99 does NOT unlock the app. It is a useful tool, but you cannot save your work.
What A Joke
Downloaded this today and was very excited as it seemed to be the most simple interface for quickly jotting down drafts of poems. I wrote four drafts in quick succession, paid the 99¢ to upgrade. Opened it a few hours later to continue working and all my work was GONE. Also it doesn’t seem to register that you paid for the upgrade. Terrible.

I know that 99 cents isn’t much, but I’m broke so, this is just a bit annoying.
Still Waiting
Why is this still on the App Store? 2020 And still bad reviews. I believe that I might have gotten the app in 2016 for free, which is something I rarely do. But I just checked my purchase history and there was a zero charge in my account back in 2016. If the reviews were better, I would reconsider downloading the app again and paying for it, even if it were more expensive. But it seems like the developer is not listening to his customers. So why should I bother? I’m reminded of the way we used to write in the “olden” days. Pen and paper. Simple, it works, and there are no subscriptions. You can even add an eraser, crayons, pencil, and more. Ahhhhh.

I'm still waiting for this app to do what it says it's supposed to do. I bought it a very long time ago and it was not functioning because all I would see was a blank screen. Now it's been at least a year that I haven't used it. It just sits in my cloud, waiting patiently for me to download again. But I ain't doing it unless there's somebody up there fixing it. I think at this point it's utterly hopeless. Too bad I will never get my hard earned money back. Why isn't there a law against this type of crime? At least the developer should respond to the complaints on here. Maybe people would feel better. At least give them that much.

Didn’t save
I wrote a poem yesterday and I went on the app to go edit it and it didn’t save. It took me a long time to make that poem and know it’s gone, I am outraged

Won’t Restore
I bought the app almost a year ago and I’ve used it on and off. I like the concept and ease of use but it doesn’t save my poems. Whenever I restore the purchase it says that it went through but it really doesn’t. Please fix this, I’m a poet/songwriter and this app can make life a lil easier for a lot of writers.

i had a whole song... and i exited out for a second to look at another app, came back and the song was gone.... happened to me twice. i paid for the app too, assuming it would save. it did not. this app was a good idea but by far the worst thing that has ever happened to me considered i have lost 2 songs now.

I like the app. But I paid for unlimited and it still says that I reached my limit. I keep having to restore the purchase. It’s gettin annoying

Great for songwriting; please fix Unlimited
This app is wonderful for songwriting! I haven't found any other app that suggests rhymes based on a specified scheme AND counts syllables per line. My only complaint is that the app keeps forgetting that I paid the $0.99 for unlimited poems, and because of that, it clears my poems that are "over the limit". Other than that, great app!
