Keine Offlinefunktion
2026-02-17: nach mehreren wochen und erneuter anschrift der support email adresse kein bugfixing, keine lösung, keine antwort. vor allem ios karten > poi funktioniert nicht. (sie unten)

meldet sich nicht!
immer noch keine fehlerfreie übergabe v. apple karten -> poi mgl! (siehe unten).
Es wurde immernoch nicht der Fehler gefixt, dass man im aktuellen ios kein apple karten pois an dienapp via teilen übergeben kann:
in der poi app steht dann unter Name: „undefinded undefinend“
es wird also weder name noch standort (z b eines hotels) übergeben.

anderer fehler / schlechte funktion:
möchte man in der app selbst dann also einen poi über die karte auswählen, dann sieht man die in der karte eingetragenen pois zwar (z b restauran), kann diese aber nicht anwählen.
das geht auch
gar nicht für eine bezahlte app!!!

backup funktion sollte auch mal erweitert werden, nämlich, dass man per ftp oder besser webdav automatisch sicherungen auf ein nas machen kann.

ich erwarte jetzt mal ein update mit bugfixing bis 30.08.25

Can’t tap on the buttons in the top left or right corners. App is unusable with an iPhone 14 Pro
Want to love this app, but out of date
Try using this app on an iPhone 13 max and you will see how frustrating it is. The back button doesn’t work. Or if it does, it takes you to another app. The buttons are not responsive which completely kills the experience. If you don’t type a name for a point before you snap a picture, there is no way to leave the picture gallery screen!!!!

Alte Bewertungen sind leider verschwunden
aber nun zur neuen Version.
Der Import einer kml-Datei mit 500 POI‘s wurde von mir nach 3 Minuten abgebrochen. In anderen Apps dauert das wenige Sekunden.
Der versprochene Import wurde zwar geliefert, nach einem Jahr Ankündigung, ist aber so nicht zu gebrauchen.

Genau sowas hab ich gesucht.
Perfektes Konzept mit Gratisapp zum testen und fairer Preis für den vollen Funktionsumfang. Direkt gekauft.
Einen Wunsch hätte ich aber, dass man beim Hinzufügen von Bildern die Alben auf dem Gerät auswählen kann, sonst muss man die Bilder teilweise ewig suchen.

Broken or Not User Friendly
This looked promising, but it looks like to have to manually add points of interest.
Tapping on the + icon just sends you to a large map showing your current location. And when you have items loaded in “Your Search” such as Gas Stations nothing shows on the map.
I like the concept, if only the app worked.

Thank you for choosing our APP. With the "+" button you will get the list of POI directly around you. With PRO version you are able to search for places around you by name, enter coordinates directly if you enable expert mode. Additionally, you can use the integrated map (especially if you want to place a pin in the wild) to generate an entry. Other ways to enter a POI include taking a photo or sharing a location marked on your device's map. Thank you and have fun with POI MAP. Dev-Team

No search to add places
Search functionality is only for places added manually.
Adding a new place with the + button does not offer you a search field, so there is no way to add places not in your immediate vicinity.
The rest of the app might be fine, but this lack of basic functionality handcuffs the app significantly. It turned me off before I even got a chance to explore further features.

Good morning George, Thanks again for your comment during December. We launched a new version integrating (HERE) and implemented the functionality you looked for. Now you have a search field to find places of your interest wherever you want and you are able to bookmark them. Integrate them in your database and find them any time on your map or within the list.... Hope you will enjoy this additional features. Thanks again for using POI MAP.

Ich hatte schon lange nach einer solchen App gesucht. Aufgrund meiner Hobbys (Motorrad und Wandern) erhascht man im Laufe der Zeit etliche Eindrücke und Orte. Später ist es dann sehr schwer die Fülle an Erinnerungen den genauen Orten wieder zuzuordnen.
Da hatte ich sie also gefunden, die App, die die Dokumentation so einfach machen soll. Das Teil also geladen und dann die Ernüchterung: Keine Bilder ladbar – weder aus dem Album noch per Handykamera. Die App vom IPhone runter geworfen und aufs IPad geladen. Das Gleiche!
Noch am selben Tag (Sa. 24.0819) an den Support geschrieben. Montags gab es eine Antwort vom Support. Ich habe dann das Problem genauer erläutert und letzten Freitag gab es schon das Update. Seitdem funktioniert die App so wie beschrieben.
Nochmals viele, vielen Dank an den Support für die schnelle Bearbeitung. Die App ist einfach klasse und ihr Geld wert!
