Doesn’t seem to work
Response from developer
Thanks for the detail — two things to check. First, please update to 5.7.0 (build 5323). In 5.6.0 a day froze after the first log, so later entries looked like they worked but never reached Health. Second, make sure PoketWalk is allowed to write both Steps and Walking + Running Distance (Health > your profile > Apps > PoketWalk). An app that tracks distance rather than steps needs that second permission, and it starts switched off. Then check the other app's own settings: many let you pick where steps come from, and if that is set to the phone's built-in sensor it ignores anything written to Health. It also reads on its own schedule, which can take a few hours. If it still doesn't show up after that, write to us from Settings > Contact Support and we'll work through it with you.

Response from developer
We're sorry, and we understand the frustration - the app genuinely did not deliver what you expected. The root cause: until now the app only wrote a step count to Apple Health, with time stamps that most fitness games simply ignore, so your walks had no effect in the game. Version 5.3.0, released on July 31, rewrites this completely: each walk is now saved with the correct time interval and also includes walking distance in kilometres, which is what those games actually read. The bug where steps were not credited after watching a video is fixed too. Please update, and in the Health app make sure PoketWalk is allowed to write both Steps and Walking + Running Distance. We can't promise that any particular game will accept it, but this was the piece that was missing. If you paid for a subscription and are unhappy, reportaproblem.apple.com will refund you.
