About

A one-tap logic puzzle with a new challenge every day. Tap a charge: every opposite charge in its row and column is dragged in and annihilates, until a matching charge stops the line. That's the whole puzzle. You get it the first time you see it happen. ONE TAP, ONE CHAIN A one-tap puzzle with nothing hidden: no covered tiles, no guessing, no menus between you and the grid. You read the board, you pick the tap that clears the most, you watch it happen. A five-by-seven field of red and blue charges, all face up. THE CROSS PAYS YOU BACK Clear eight or more and the tap is free. Clear the whole cross, a full row and column at once, and it refunds you, then some. Every tap you win back flies home to your counter, so you see exactly what a good move earned. MISSIONS THAT GROW WITH YOU Three missions sit above the board while you play: clear a whole row, clear eight in one tap, clear in all four directions. Finish one and it pays you a shard and taps back, and the next of its kind asks a little more. Stuck on one? After a few runs it eases off. TWELVE TAPS, AND MORE IF YOU EARN THEM Every run starts with twelve taps. Clear enough charges and you bank three more, and the next target sits a little further on. Your score is simply the number of charges you clear. The run ends when the taps do. LEARN IN SECONDS Four one-tap lessons show you a row, a column, the whole cross and a blocked line. Then the board is yours. Replay them any time from How to play. A BRAIN TEASER THAT RESPECTS YOUR TIME A run is about a minute. No timer pressure, no lives, no waiting to play again: a quick logic puzzle for a queue or a coffee, or an hour of chasing one high score. PLAYS ANYWHERE, OFFLINE Works fully offline, with no account and no sign-in. Optional anonymous stats only; toggle them off in Settings. A NEW CHALLENGE EVERY DAY A daily challenge turns over at midnight, the same for everyone on the same date. EARN THEMES Every mission pays a shard. Spend them on themes, cosmetic colour sets for the two charges, purely for looks; they never touch the puzzle. And Stats keeps count of every row, column and cross you have ever cleared. Tap a charge. Watch it clear. Beat your best.

What's New in Polarity Grid

2.5.0

October 5, 2026

Missions, a simpler score, and every tap you win back, out in the open. LEARN IN SECONDS New players start with four one-tap lessons: a row, a column, the whole cross, a blocked line. Then the board is yours, and it goes a little easier on you for your first few runs. Home, then How to play, replays them. MISSIONS Three missions now sit above the board. Finish one and it fills gold, pays you a shard and taps back, and a fresh one takes its place. The next of the same kind asks a little more: a whole column, then two in one run. If one is too much, it eases off after a few runs. YOUR TAPS COME HOME Tap and the counter drops. Win the tap back and you watch it fly home: free taps, the cross's payback, missions and the bonus-tap target all send their taps flying into the counter. A SIMPLER SCORE Your score is the number of charges you clear. The streak multiplier is gone, and the bonus-tap target now sits in the header: clear that many charges, bank three taps. SHARDS, MADE SIMPLE One mission, one shard. Themes are priced in shards, and the first one is free on your third mission. Out of taps with a mission nearly done? Keep going: three more taps for three shards, once a run. Shards from earlier versions carry over, rescaled to the new prices. AND MORE A new home screen and a new icon. A Stats screen that counts every row, column and cross you have ever cleared. A cleaner result card with real buttons. Bigger switches in Settings, an easier reminder time, and a Reset progress option. The app now asks once, at launch, whether ads may use tracking. One rule, unchanged: tap a charge, and every opposite in its row and column is pulled in and annihilates.
