Translator

I ordered a translator and they charged me well over 200 dollars and sent my four of them. I called them and they gave me a send back number and after spending another 35 dollars to send the three back that I didn’t need they NEVER refunded my money. When I called them again they said they knew nothing about my purchase! I will never order from them ever again!!!!

App is (no longer) trash. Now it works great!

EDIT: after some time I received a response from the developer. The new app works!! This is what I wanted when I bought the Poliglu device. I have yet to use it in my travels since we returned from France 2 weeks ago but I anticipate it will be helpful. Thanks for listening! Like others, the Poliglu app will not load on my iPhone 14 Pro. I downloaded the MUAMA app and it does connect but the volume controls are useless and the translation is barely audible. This needs a fix!

False Advertisement

Why would you sell a device that only works if the app on your phone had to be open and running? I could literally just use my cell phone with google translator etc and get the same results for free!

$100 down the drain.

App will not run

Recently received this device from a friend and I attempted to install it. It gets stuck on a screen that says it is loading. Tried it on 2 iPhones a 12 and 14 same result. Contacted the company and was told it was outside the returnable limit so I am out of luck. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Does not work.

I’ve tried on 3 different phones (types and everything) to get this to work. I follow the directions. I’ve contacted support. Nothing works. On one phone I can’t open the app on it. On another it gets all the way to scanning for devices and stays on there. On the Third phone, the app opens but doesn’t leave off of the loading page. I can connect to the phones via Bluetooth but the app doesn’t work at all. So disappointing.

Not very good

App not loading even after 30 minutes of waiting. Connected to Bluetooth without issue. But the app itself just gives the startup page and “Loading….” It literally just sits there. There is nothing to push to initiate next steps. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app only to have it function the same way. I am using an iPhone 12 and at this point I’m not impressed.

Beware. It’s a scam.

Nothing but a money grab. Item doesn’t do anything without the app and the app doesn’t work on any Apple device. There are Free translation apps at the App Store that puts this device and it’s non functioning app to shame.

This app has not opened and is required for operating the unit. Very disappointed while waiting to hear from customer service. I’m hoping not to have to return the product.

Crap

The app won’t load no matter what I do I have iPhone 15 all the screen ever says is loading and nothing else I kept it going for over 40 minutes and it did nothing. I really needed a product like this for my work but it’s just total CRAP I you folks work this bug out very soon

App never loads

App will not load despite trying numerous times to get it to work. It just says loading. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling as well as tried it on different iOS devices. All devices are new and up-to-date. This basically makes this translator useless without it.

Notes to read before downloading the app:

Bought for a honeymoon to Japan and Korea. Some issues/pain points we found were:

1) I’m on the IPhone 15. As of writing this the app only works when the phone is in the “low power mode”. Otherwise it will stay on the loading screen indefinitely. Only found out by mistake when my phone was low and I tried the app. Hopefully that’ll get fixed.

2) The translation sometimes doesn’t catch what you say exactly right. However they also added a keyboard so that you can type the message to them as well slower but a good second option.

3) Wish you didn’t have to keep the app open while using it. It kinda defeats the purpose of having the extra device with you at all If you can do everything on the phone as well.

For the three reasons above I’m giving it 3 stars. Will come back and edit this if the issues get fixed.

Other than those issues the app and device work well and tried it with my Spanish speaking wife and it works very well.

App does not work

The app does not work. It just sits on the “Loading” screen. Multiple reviews say the same thing. Does the company read these reviews or do any product support? Nope.

USELESS. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing!!! This trashy app they are trying to get you to download in order to be able to use the hardware, DOESNT WORK!! Now that I have read the reviews i can confirm. THE APP GOES TO THE DOWNLOADING SCREEN AND THEN DOESNT DO ANYTHING!!! NO DOWNLOAD, NO ASSISTANCE, JUST FROZEN SCREEN. Without the app the translator is USELESS!!

Can’t get app to download.

I have been trying for over a month to get this app to download and it won’t. It shows up on the screen says loading and does nothing. I cannot get the apparatus to work because I have no instructions. How do I return this? I bought two for my trip to Spain.
