PNCU app

Went through many banks and their apps were user friendly but PNCU kept it the most simplistic.
Great bank, awful app
This app is nothing but frustration. Constantly buggy, will force me out of my own account, terrible interface. PNCU is a great credit union and the people that work there are wonderful, but this app alone makes me want to switch banks.

Nice to have an app but needs some updates
I’m glad they have an app but needs some major updates, the one thing I do love is the simplicity of the layout. I have been having an issue with the app always asking for additional verification where I have to type in two of the three verification questions even when I have it on facial recognition, that is super annoying, with a 4 digit pin or the facial recognition it should just go right into the Home Screen. The app says it will ask occasionally or if they see something suspicious but it’s EVERY TIME!!! Like I wouldn’t mind if it was occasional but all the time is a bit overkill especially with facial recognition and there is no way to turn off that second level of protection because I would. Also the transaction register is tucked away under the profile settings rather than integrated into the actual individual account pages, you should be able to click into each account and have a transaction register link right there for each account. I have USAA as well and I feel like their app it too over complicated where it has so many possibilities and sometimes pushes you to the desktop version on your phone rather than staying in the app but if the developers look at say Wells Fargo or the B of A bank apps they might get some good ideas. Like keep the simplicity of the lay out but just tweek where you can find specific items like the register, maybe add the ability to attach external accounts for transfers, Mobil deposit and Zelle would be AWESOME!

Master Lines issue
Periodically I get a Master Lines error message. This prevents me from carrying out transfer and PayMy Bills functions. Only way to overcome the issue to logout and log back in. Sometimes I must do this multiple times. Inconvenient and very annoying.

From great to godawful
This Ap was wonderful, then when trying to make a good thing better the new updated version is horrible. Looks like it was typed out on a 1970’s typewriter!!! No improvements, just supper simple graphics, re-arranged organization, and an adjustment period to the new look for squat. Two Thumbs Down.
Needs a lot of work
Needs to be updated bad. Just a couple minutes into the app and I found it already putting ads over key areas. I don’t want ads in your app especially if it blocks use of the app. Needs a ton of work!!!
Competitive
This app is great! It has had a lot of improvements and added features. Mobile deposit is great and seamless (as long as you write “for mobile deposit only” on the back of the check). Transfers, bill pay, and other features keep this app competitive with other banks. Face ID worked for a while but then it stopped automatically coming up, but otherwise it does every thing everyone else’s does.
