The Polly

Let’s get ready for the holidays!!!

Not impressed. Quite disappointed actually.

Doesn’t seem like people are actually
Bidding on items. I’m a tool geek and I’ve been bidding on this 3 drawer plastic Greenworks toolbox to
Go with the rest of my sets. It’s the only thing I found worth bidding on for me personally. I bid on several of the same. It makes no sense. If you win, you pay 1 cent for the item. And many of these toolbox auctions include 230 bid points to the winner. Points are $.15 each. Someone with a lot of money can just outbid up to the point everyone else drops out and they lose all their points And gain nothing. Not like a real auction where if you lose an auction you aren’t out anything and you can keep bidding. So I bid on 6 or 7 if these toolboxes. Now all my money is gone and I got nothing.it doesn’t tell you that part up front. Man this seems pretty scammy to me. By the time I got to my last bid I had to go all in and one person had more bids than me. Maybe one more? Maybe a hundred more.
Only by winning the item do you get rewarded over 200 points so that you can keep bidding. So dumb. Avoid this. I’m deleting the app since all my money is gone anyway. And all I got is disappointment and anger to be perfectly honest. I should’ve just bought Google gift cards and give them to the terrible scammers in India. Feels just about the same as Polly.
I hope they don’t remove my review. Good Luck and happiness to everyone who is NOT involved in a scam of some sort. Not here though.

Points

Review is to get my points. Just starting to see how good auctions are. We will see.

THIS IS A SCAM

DO NOT USE THIS SITE THEY TAKE MONEY FROM YOU EVEN WHEN YOU DO NOT WIN THE AUCTION
THATS HIW THEY GET THESE AUCTIONS RUNNING SO CHEAP BECAUSE THEY STEAL FROM HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE WITHOUT HAVING TO GIVE THEM A PRODUCT. I HAVE DELETED THIS FRAUDULENT APP BUT WARNING EVERYONE

Owner

Easy to sign up

Horrible

They charged my debit card $30 without my permission & then have a bogus phone number

Not fun!

This app is not fun. Moreover it is frustrating. They have no way to filter. They have beginner auctions that have lower retail prices and are easy to win. But most items are higher retail priced items and auctions go on for
Hours if not days. You can only bid one cent at a time or purchase for retail price. Good luck!

Scam

You have to pay to get points so the prices they are advertising are the same. Buying from the store if not more… I lost $30 bc they tricked me making me think they were giving me a fee if. AVOID

Perfect

Love this app

Cool site

Love auctions

This is a rip off

Let’s just say the way that they advertise. It is not the way that it ends up being I believe this app is very deceptive.

Fun

It’s so exciting

New

So far so good. Haven’t bought anything yet

Exciting

You will love it

Shopping Fun

What’s fresh way to enjoy shopping again with just the tap of your thumb and the excitement of winning a bid. Loving it

New to Polly

Exciting!!! Can’t wait to win!

Waste of time and money

Pay $30 for points to bid that you don’t get back and have to buy more points to bid. Garbage. Scam.

Beware

This app is like gambling. You bid and lose, you lose all your money/points. You buy points for $0.14 cents depending on what they are selling the points for at that time. If you win the action you have additional amount to pay as well. I won two packs of Nike socks for 0.01 cents but they ended up costing me $42.00 after everything was done.

Deceptive

I knew it was too good to be true. I usually don’t fall for these types of “free $ and/or points”. I was charged $30 for one transaction and $7 on another. I found out by making sure I wasn’t charged for anything, because I was using my free $50. I know better than that. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually (9 out of 10 times in my opinion) is. However, they are good with their strategy of pulling people in. Just beware. I didn’t really know what I was doing, but I have used a couple auction apps. They are straight up forward and to the point. No misleading, promises, deception, etc.
update…I just learned both amounts were credited. They did say refunds are quick and easy. This time, they’re right. Fast and not a misleading issue of refunds. Thank you for that being easy.
