What's New in POLYCIV

1.0.46

October 20, 2026

Gameplay & Balance Knights can now chain at most 3 attacks in one turn with Persist. Each city can have only one Granary. An enemy unit standing on a resource now stops you gathering it. Building a bridge over fish now removes the fish. Smarter Bots Bots now help allies attack, as well as defend. Bots gather their army before attacking and focus on one target. Bots no longer garrison allied cities, which used to stop those cities producing units. Bots won't plan attacks on a player they're forming an alliance with. Every bot opponent now plays at the toughest level. Multiplayer Find a Match now has open lobbies ready, so you can get into a game straight away. The lobby roster is sorted by team, and rows that change are highlighted. You see the game's result as soon as the winner is decided. When you rejoin a game, you see what your opponents did while you were away. New push notifications tell you when a player is eliminated and when your turn is skipped. Reliability Your moves are saved if you close the app, and sent when you come back. Your moves are kept and retried if the server drops out for a moment. Screens and lists now recover on their own after a connection error. Fixes & Polish The tutorial's Skip button works again. The damage preview no longer overlaps unit badges. The city level-up prompt now closes when the game ends. The Back button in Settings now sits in the same place as on every other screen. Fixed an error when two players launch the same game at the same time. iOS now needs version 15.0 or later.

PolyCiv rocks 🪨

I love the multiplayer feature! Aurelith 4eva.

Free with no ads and highly addictive

Polyciv is dangerously easy to get hooked on. It has that perfect “one more turn” feeling where you sit down intending to play for a few minutes and suddenly way too much time has passed. The strategy has real depth without feeling unnecessarily complicated, and every game gives you different decisions to make. You can tell a lot of thought went into balancing expansion, planning, and competition. If you like civilization building or strategy games, this is absolutely worth trying. Five stars!

Exceptional

This might just be the best game I have ever played in my entire life! All I want to do is keep playing! I haven’t eaten anything today because it doesn’t even cross my mind, all I think about is PolyCiv! I haven’t been this excited since Trump announced the $5k checks!! We’re up to $12k now baby 🤑🤑 . I’ll finally be able to place that down payment on a house 🏡

The Game Rocks!!!!

I honestly really enjoy this game. You can play with multiple people, and the best part is that it’s turn based, so we don’t all have to be online at the same time trying to coordinate our lives. I also love the strategy behind it, you actually have to think instead of just running around causing chaos. Give it a chance! it’s hell of a lot fun and can lead to some hilarious times with your homies.

Fun and Casual way to play with friends

When I first downloaded the game I spent 3 hours beating the computer opponents. It kept me hooked a lot longer than I expected it to. Where it really shines though is the casual multiplayer ability. It’s a great and low pressure way to play and stay connected with friends. It really fits into your busy schedule because you’re able to make your move and just come back to it when it’s your turn again.
