About
Polyglobe is a game about the sounds of the world's languages. Hear a short clip from a real lesson, then drop a pin on the map where you think the language is spoken. The closer your pin, the more points you earn.
Ways to play:
• Daily: five new clips each day, the same for everyone. See how your score compares with other players.
• Classic: five rounds on the map you choose.
• Streak: keep guessing until you miss one.
• Rapid: ten rounds with 20 seconds each.
• Arena: play live with friends or bots. Everyone hears the same clip at the same time.
Learn something every round:
• See what the clip said, line by line, with a translation.
• Tap words to see what they mean.
• Read a fun fact about each language you meet.
• Watch your Explorer map fill in, with a medal for each language you play.
Play your way:
• Pick a map: the whole world, one region, or a language family like Romance, Germanic, or Slavic & Baltic.
• Try Accents, where you also guess which accent you hear, like Spanish from Spain or Argentina, or Japanese from Osaka.
• Listen to the clip, read it, or do both.
• Turn on Hear Once to play each clip only one time, or add a timer.
There are more than 50 languages to discover, from Korean and Swahili to Icelandic, Cebuano, and Haitian Creole. Every clip comes from a real lesson in Bubblegum. When you hear a language you like, you can start learning it there.
Share any game as a picture with a link. Your friends can play the same rounds and compare scores with you.
Your results are saved on your phone. Sign in with your Bubblegum account to keep them on every device.
Polyglobe is made by Bubblegum, the language learning app built by language learners for learners. It is free to play and has no ads. Need a hand? Email support@bubblegum.la.
