I absolutely love this app. Me and my two friends have NEVER been closer. lol. And as a girl with stomach issues, who has drs often ask about how these things are going, it makes it so convenient! lol.
App doesn’t work
Front page states need to watch ads but no buttons on the page work so you can’t get through to the app it just says on the same screen

the ad feature thing where it tells u there’s an ad ahead, and the button that says got it, no matter how many times I press it it doesn’t go away + even when i open the app it’s still there so
Ai art
If you’d like people to use the app and or pull in more people avoid ai art to make more appealing. Ai art makes the app look lazy and low quality, even using ms paint or drawing it would be 10x better
Can’t close popups
Have used this for a few days. Have just opened it and a pop up has appeared, talking about a subscription. The button to dismiss it doesn’t work, no matter what I try. Unfortunate.

Ads in paid tier
My only gripe is I now get ads for a new more expensive version of the app I’ve financially supported with an active subscription for however long. Not the end of the world but a bit annoying to pay for a premium tier under the expectation of financing future development in hopes to get those features only to see one day that they update, it add 2 features (one of which imo should be included in the existing plans), then plop a non-dismissible ad for the more expensive subscription on EVERY page that takes up ~20% of the screen real estate…
It’s a decent app, but releasing new features under a separate subscription from the ones that people have been paying rubs be the wrong way a bit… especially since people pay for annual subscriptions so now you could be 4 months into a yearly sub (ineligible for a refund) and stuck with a static banner because you don’t want to pay for an entire second subscription ontop of what you’ve already paid for.
Anyways. App is good, but I dont agree with this practice.
I understand AI image scanning may be something that costs an add on due to API fees and such but idk… the implementation with the banner and the fact that trends are a paid feature when stats is also a paid feature in the original subscription model feels like a money grab.
And I will also say, there is a difference between “lifetime payments” and being locked in at that feature state. But it’s specifically paying a subscription which is only a justified model in the first place because you’re effectively investing in the app and features are your ROI… so when features stop being the ROI, I guess that’s when subscription fatigue starts to creep.
Sorry for any negativity. I use the app to the point I’ve been happy to pay. But the recent update rubbed me the wrong way a bit. If not also out of concern that future updates and features will also be locked under different or new tiers.

used to love this app but it now has way too many ads when trying to save a log
