fun at first...
At first, I enjoyed playing the game as I didn't feel any pressure of leveling up fast. However, when the developers made all the players from all servers play against each other, all the fun of the game I initially felt was replaced with pressure and annoyance. I felt the need to level up fast as to be able to have a chance to compete with stronger players from other servers. When all the servers have been playing together, lower-tiered players have no chance at all to compete with stronger players. The only way they could have a tiny chance to compete is to use real money to buy stuffs to level up fast.
For the side games, I think it would be better if players from different servers and guilds can play against each other based on their tier/era level, and not all tier/era playing against each other, so as to give weaker players a chance to win.
For the main events, like dawn of rome, I think it's alright that all players/guilds from all servers compete against each other.

Have been playing the game and enjoying it but just got an ad for it where a woman moans while getting fondled by a tentacle then has an eggplant rubbed on her rear. So pointlessly sexual when that’s not even then content of the game. Deleted

I have been playing the game since it released. It is fun, I like the historical figures/facts and the imagery. It was really engaging at first and I was constantly moving on up in the game. Now I’m at level 143 and progress is sloooow, I have to wait 12+ hours to for research to finish, energy to top up in the theater, or to get enough to gold maybe level up 3-4 characters a day max. If you want to obtain any new characters during an event you HAVE to pay. You will not get enough shards to summon them by simply logging in and playing normally. There is currently no way to get characters, goddesses, or skins you miss during the events. If you want to be on top of the leaderboard good luck. You’re competing with people who have easily spent a couple hundred and have extra resources and power as a result. Free boosts also require watching way too many ads and popups to top up are relentless. Much room for improvement.

Fun game
Really enjoying the game to the point I bought the monthly pass saves so much time! Loads of different event always happening some I like some not my cup of tea.
Biggest downside for me is the population growth compared to other stats I’m just about to go to late ren and buying all of the population boosts doing all wonders and over 2 days my pop has gone up about 5% when I completed all other requirements days ago. Not stopping my playing but just annoying as want to progress
