Too glitchy, needs a fix
PopBookings App is too glitchy now and needs to be updated without the bugs. There have been messages stuck in my app for over a year I still can’t access and it only shows me my bookings for half of a second until it disappears. Can’t confirm or view bookings that won’t show in the app. Also a lot of these bookings are underpaid. Getting offered $28/hr for a job that should be at least $40/hr, and accepting bookings that lie about the pay and want to pay you less after.

Buggy and Glitchy but good gigs
I usually have issues booking gigs because the platform has weird glitches that prevent you from seeing available gigs. If I’m connected to an agency it doesn’t show sometimes… lastly, I had to play with the filters when I first downloaded this app just to find available events in my area. Otherwise there was no listings

Extremely Buggy
As of 07.08.24 the PopBookings App has been extremely buggy for at least 6 months. Bookings and invitations do not appear on the booking page. Direct messages are impossible to send. Confirmed jobs do not show up. The app is in dire need of an update for the current iOS.
App Needs A Lot Of Work
I’ve been using PopBookings to apply for gigs for about 2 years now because all of my agencies use the platform. However, the app and the website both need some serious updating. I’d log on the app, and it will tell me no jobs are available…the app would send me a notification about a job invite from my agency and when I log in on the app…no listings are posted. No job invites. Nothing.
It’s honestly very annoying and frustrating.
This app has the potential to be a great platform, but it’s so faulty it makes you not even want to use it.
Please fix the app. Please.

Search option fail
The search options and sort options do not work. Don't appear and if they do and you select them it just turns to zero results which is definitely incorrect. Everytime a new job is loaded i have to spend time scrolling searching to figure out which one it is
Super reliable and easy to look for jobs
I started using this app a couple years ago and every time I find something it makes it so much easier to get booked and to find also new openings great for gigs in the city and it’s surroundings
Outdated - do not recommend
I have used this app for over six years and it has always been a frustrating experience. The only reason I keep it is because unfortunately companies keep using it as a platform to book Brand Ambassadors and gigs alike. It is extremely outdated, there are always glitches and it is super slow to load whether you are on WiFi or not. I wish the app developers would spend more time making it a user friendly experience, it seems like they never bother to test the consumer side of the app because everyone I talk to about this app in the industry agrees that it is not a great app to use. They also charge marketing agencies to use the app, and then also take a % of your pay without you knowing when you book a gig through the app. While the app may be free to use, they are taking money out of your pockets each time you book an event on the app. This is not disclosed information.

App does not work even when updated.
This app has serious problems that desperately need to be fixed, such as blank screens, not allowing to search and connect to companies to book work, even on the pc it does NOT function well. Horrible and NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP!!!!!
Can’t use the app
I can’t even use the app because it won’t let me get past the gender and DOB screen. There is no next button to proceed after selecting gender and entering DOB. I’ve redownloaded the app several times, same issue.
Horrible customer service
Can you even talk to a real person? Their “customer service” is an ai that only always you to respond with preselected options. If you issue isn’t one of the preselected options, tough luck. Does it at least along to you say that your issue wasn’t resolved & you’d like to talk to a real person? Nope. It ends the chat.
I’m using this platform for booking gigs with a single company & I'm frankly thinking about just not working with this company anymore so I don’t have to deal with PopBookings. I constantly get recruit emails for companies I have no interest working with because they have nothing to do with what my work is. Is there an option to opt out of receiving these emails? Nope.

So far, the app moves very slow. It takes forever to load and shows the same jobs every time I reload. I’ve booked one job, waiting to see if it’ll go through smoothly. I’ll write another review then.

I have had to already remove and redownload the app because it was glitching. It wasn’t accurate in the calendar and showing what I was booked.
The worst app
To be keeping this app at that level of mediocrity is unacceptable. It took me lots of time To connect with all the companies , now all the connections are gone , I have to start over ! Plus I keep updating my bio and details on my

This app is extremely glitchy. I’ve updated the newest version and it made it more glitchy. Always loading and the calendar details tab never works for me. I have the newest iPhone so I know it’s not my phone. Seems like they need a better app developer.
Bugs in app
Every time I click on the booking tab the app shuts off. Everything else works fine.
