In general, it’s a great software I had works in most of the countries I’ve been to, although in some cities like Paris, the reception is not very stable even in the city center had to give you a very weak 5G reception and even in the middle of the road in the Uber taxi that doesn’t work very well

I want to love this
I got access to this service because I am soon to be a dual citizen of the United States and Croatia, and will likely move back to Croatia, and will need to have a service that allows me to keep my US number.
Although this service does do this, I did notice that my data speed was painfully slow, so much so that I just switched back to my other sim.
This is a great idea, but the data speeds need work!
Once I am closer to returning to Croatia I will revisit the service. Here’s hoping things get better.

Incredible Company, Incredible Customer Service.
I switched to popcorn recently and i cannot be more pleased with their service. Their team is very responsive, the features and tech easter eggs are kinda cool. And honestly for those who complain about the 50GB cap, are just complaining to complain.

Great global plan
I’ve been traveling for 6 months to 15 countries in Asia and Europe and Popcorn has been awesome. Knowing my phone will work just like I’m in the US is great feeling. Getting off the plane in Bangkok is no different than getting off the plane in Chicago, it just works.
Support success
I had a problem when I moved to another country. I emailed support and they responded immediately. They gave very very precise instructions which I performed and contacted again for the follow up and they responded immediately again and problem solved. You cannot beat that! Highly recommend

Was nervous about a service I did not know but so far the process is working really well. Somewhat learning process but customer service really good. Onboarding a bit tough for the novice but they are great. They say they are almost ready for alpha. No idea what that means? So there is a waitlist. But they got me onboard and after some learning curve on my part I’m great.

Just getting started and it was quick and easy to get started.
Misleading Signup Experience
Very misleading onboarding experience. At the beginning of the app, I was shown messaging that made it seem like I would be able to get my eSIM and get started right away. I went through the entire setup process, entered my information, selected the countries I planned to use the service in, and then was told that Popcorn is still in alpha and that users are being added gradually.
If access is currently limited, that should be made clear before taking users through the entire signup process and giving them the impression that they can activate the service immediately.
I specifically downloaded this app because I need a global eSIM and phone service right now because I’m currently traveling outside of the country. Finding out at the very end of the signup process that I can’t actually use the service right now was extremely frustrating and felt like a complete waste of my time.
Please be more transparent about availability upfront.

Breathe of fresh air
Great service so far but best surprise was real-life human support that I didn’t have to wait hours on hold for. Great support!! As a retired Expat Popcorn is exactly what I needed as I travel the world. Setup was super easy and my number ported in about 3 minutes.

I have tried to try this service for over a year. Always puts me on a waiting list as they are "testing". Apple should remove thid app for deceptive practices to obtain information that is probably being sold. BEWARE! If it sounds to good to be true.... it is not!!!

I love this APP and mobile service. It works wonderfully with the back up eSIM. I get great reception in the villages in Vietnam. Use the second eSIM as primary when traveling overseas.

Excellent Service All Around
We just moved from the US to France. We switched to Popcorn about a month before we moved. Tech support was amazing during set up and user errors as we learned the new platform (practically instantaneous responses!). Zero issues in the US in terms of the phone/internet service. Once we got to France, we had to reach out to tech support as some glitch happened crossing over. Again, fantastic support and everything is working great. Love the simplicity of it all.

Flawless service
Love it so far! I started using Popcorn one week ago just before leaving the US for Thailand. I’ve had zero issues so far. It just works. My signal is rock solid everywhere in Chiang Mai. If it’s this good in other places, it’s a game changer.
