Great customer service and at implementing customer requests
The app is a little glitchy at times, but the customer service is phenomenal at making sure issues are resolved as quick as possible! I feel like they listen to user wants and make sure that those things are implemented within reason.
Key functionality doesn’t work
This should be my favorite app. A tool for ranking lists of movies? Something I have always dreamed of. But this key element glitches constantly - any list you rank over a handful of films will fail to load the full list when viewing. Unclear if this affects actual ranking mechanism or not. So disappointing.

Wrong API glitch
Whenever I open the app i have a message that says I need to go to revenuecat and that I have a key? Otherwise app is good but I cannot access the app with this glitch

Simple and Fast
This is exactly what I was looking for. My girlfriend has a similar app that creates lists for restaurants by comparing them in the same way as this app.

I love this app. I love the fact that I can have a place to catalog every movie and tv show I’ve ever watched. It’s brought back some classics I watched as a kid and also helped me understand the genres I truly like and what about those movies.
I left a review before stating some of the issues with the app. And within a week or 2, the developer fixed all the issues. There’s also a feedback tab where you can post ideas or changes. So honestly I love his app, and I’m glad the developers are working hard behind the scenes.

I love this app. I love the fact that I can have a place to catalog every movie and tv show I’ve ever watched. It’s brought back some classics I watched as a kid and also helped me understand the genres I truly like and what about those movies.
BUT, there needs to be some big changes:
1. Crashes and glitches - with the most recent update, the app now lets me bookmark movies without crashing, but it still starts glitching out hardcore after I scroll for a while on different lists. It also still doesn’t let me bookmark certain movies or tv shows, just says there’s an error.
2. If someone’s able to log every single movie they’ve ever seen and rank how much they like it, I think it’s a massive mist opportunity that there’s not a recommended section based off your favorite movies and TV shows. Is this not the ultimate point of the app???
3. As of the most recent update, I can no longer re-rank titles without entirely going through the selection process again. Which is just not the best method once they’re already in your list. This change needs to be reverted.
4. It won’t let me sign in on the desktop for some reason. So that also needs to be be looked into.
5. Also in the newest update, the text is impossible to read. When you go to rhe profile tab, there’s a bunch of statistics and whatever. But the text is in white and the background is also in white.
Besides these issues and redesigns, the app has a ton of potential.

I use this app all the time but it could use major changes. First, there is only one genre that the “sort by genre” feature accounts for, leaving much content unavailable to see. Also, I personally think automatic scores should be removed altogether, unless there is an actual process behind the score. If you watch enough films, you’ll notice that even films you enjoy will get extremely low scores due to the automatic score feature. In my opinion, it should be changed so that scores are an optional feature that is determined from certain criteria of categories. For example, one criteria could be how well the film amounted to its genre (out of ten.) I honestly have only been using this app so that I could keep track of the films I watch and so that I could see which ones I enjoyed more than others. So I would only recommend the app if you are looking for those bare minimum sorts.

Glitchy mess
I like this app and really wish it wasn’t so glitchy but it’s genuinely getting to the point of it being unusable. I have a list right now that constantly doesn’t show all the films, won’t let me add any more films and randomly deletes films off the list at any given time. Please developers I enjoy the app but it’s a glitchy mess right now.

Incredibly Cool But Oh My God THE ADS
I should be able to pay to not have to watch an ad every time I mark a movie as watched. It’s INTOLERABLE.
Fix these = higher rating
I have 90+ movies to add and I'm not planning on reviewing any of them.
This means I have to go through the review screen every time I add a movie and press skip. Then wait for the animation to remove the window. I'm not doing that 90 times in a row. There should be an option in the settings to never ask for reviews. I'm only on this app to rank my movies.
Also, sometimes when an add pops up, the screen just freezes and I have to restart the app. Very annoying.
Lastly, the app won't let me export my list: it says "cannot read property 'base64' of undefined.
Due to all these issues, I cannot and will not use the app until these issues are fixed or improved.
I wanted to contact the dev through email but I couldn't find it so I unfortunately had to say this through a review.
If these issues are improved upon, I will adjust my rating to at least 4 stars or potentially 5 stars. The first two issues are the most important to me. Those fixed = +2 stars. The last one is annoying but doesn't affect the usability of the app. That one = +1 star.
This next part isn't related to my review score but just wanted to give some business/marketing advice.
I think the app would benefit greatly from a shorter and catchier name. Ex. "Popcorn"
Similar to the short name of "Letterboxd"
The current name isn't really catchy and it's kinda a mouthful. "Hey I'm using this really cool app called Popcorn List." Doesn't really roll off the tongue.

Export function - should be fixed (as of 2/12) 3. Name - I actaully thought of that, will think about some other cool names! 4. Rating - should be fixed 5. I downloaded the app this morning and it has immediately become my new obsession. It scratches the nerdy itch in my brain that wants to rank everything 😂 now I need one for albums, video games, books, etc. 5/5 stars, no notes!!!

Love this app, but missing one feature
This app is awesome, I always wondered what my favorite movie was and now I can find out! Most functionality is good, but it would be cool if there was a faster way to add a lot of movies. For example, it would be cool if i could just checkmark a ton of movies, and then rank them one by one afterwards.

Need to be able to filter by year, not decade
Fairly glitchy right now (batches of movies repeat when scrolling down), but this would be a 4-star app if you could browse all movies by year, not decade. I, and I’m sure others too, want to go through year-by-year and add all the movies I’ve seen, but having to go through the whole decade creates just an endless scroll that you never reach the end of. And added on to that, the decade lists of movies are in no discernible order, which makes the experience totally unwieldy. The tournament ranking style list-making is great, but without specific year browsing or some kind of popularity ranking, this app’s gonna be basically unusable for me.
Edit: The filters being under My List don’t really do anything to help that issue since the filters would only be helpful in the search function (especially under Release Date) *before* adding them to My List. Looks like at lease one other person in these reviews was having the same complaint. Appreciate you guys 🙏

Insane amount of popups
Love the idea of a tournament style ranking to create a list of favorite movies. But you get a 30-40 second video ad every time you add a movie which is insane. No way is that normal.

Cool idea full of ads
Was interested in this, until after reviewing 4 movies got into an unskipable mobile game ad. Instantly deleted it. No reason for ads that intrusive for this type of app.
