App or web browser??
I appreciate the app, but it does not serve any other functionality that the browser does not do. I would like to actually see an app where it doesn’t make me login every single time.

Not sure why but I’m unable to login all I get is a loading and it stays in the login screen? Is this app only for employers or is it also for employees cuz id like to be able to see my paystubs too

It takes care of the basics, exactly what I need!
The Poppins Payroll iOS app allows me to take care of the upcoming payroll without having to go out of my way to log in to the site and navigate it on my phone or go to the computer to do so; this comes especially handy on Sunday night when I’m already in bed!!
Needs upgrade
Easy to enter payroll hours but that’s it. Has no other function. Really needs a massive overhaul and upgrade with increase in functionality.
App No Longer Works
I was frustrated at first that the app didn’t have the full functionality of the website, which is counterintuitive in mobile design. But at least I could update hours through the app.
For the past few weeks, I have been unable to log into the app due to incorrect credentials (they are correct), as reported by other users here. I can log into the website just fine. What’s the point? They should take this app down and fix it; and probably get a professional app developer that knows how to take a basic - but functional - website and optimize the app to match the website’s capabilities. But first, just make it so paying users can at least log in.

Not meeting needs
same issue as other users have reported, I can’t login with my correct credentials on the app, only on the web browser, and for some reason it works on my husband‘s phone app, but not on mine. This is highly inconvenient for making changes to hours on the go and really not working for our family.
Frozen
Dead app. Cant do a single thing on it. Totally useless. You open it up and it’s frozen. Updated, deleted, redownloaded. Does not work.
Essentially useless app
Has very limited to no functionality, despite this it still manages to freeze all the time, sometimes states credentials are incorrect despite using a password manager to autofill.
Mobile Log-in Doesn’t Work
I used to be able to log into Poppins through the iOS app and can no longer log in as of late October. I can still log in on a desktop browser though.

Not sure what happened. I will log into Poppins using a web browser and everything works fine. I use those same credentials to log into the app and it tells me there is a problem with the credentials. I ended up changing the password. Same problem. Able to log in web browser, can’t log in app.
Prior to this I loved the app, and still highly recommend the Poppins service.

No longer works
The app has had an error for a while now that occurs when you go to sign in that says “wrong credentials”. You can login to your account via their website, but not through the app. I’ve contacted Poppins a few weeks ago about the error and they’ve known about it but seem unable to fix it.

App for employers- not employees
This app is great for employers to update hours! My employee also gets access to her employee cubby, which is accessed only from logging into Poppinspayroll.com from a web browser. Thanks Poppins for making payroll simple for me!
Clunky glitchy app
Won’t even let me log in. My username and password is correct, shows a grey loading bar for a second and then it goes away and nothing happens and I’m still not logged in. Super frustrating. Slow, clunky and glitchy. Hope this is fixed soon.
Seemingly Only for Employers
Needs to be clear that this app is for employers only. As an employee and nanny of over a decade this app should be accessible by both employer and employees. You can’t even log in using your credentials on the app. My only access point is the website. Using the website is clunky for employees and you cannot see up coming paydays.

App does not work
I use Poppins payroll through safari and it works just fine, but the mobile app version does not work at all. I put in my login credentials and try to log in and it loads for a second and then doesn’t do anything. This has been an ongoing issue since at least March of 2025. It’s now August 2025 and it still hasn’t been fixed.
