Unfortunately this app is not what it used to be
I ended up on a bit of a wild goose chase looking for postboxes the app had listed as having a late collection time, only to find that on arrival, the postbox had been scheduled for collection some one or two hours earlier
In the end, I found a postbox that offered late collection but it was no thanks to this app

Handy
Seems to do the basics. It would be helpful if the app could differentiate between post boxes and post offices - perhaps use different icons? A search feature for other areas would also be handy as scrolling can be a bit fiddly if you don’t know somewhere well. Handy for a quick check of local boxes though.

Average app
I work for Royal Mail so know the location of most boxes in my area. Thought I would try this app to find the more rural boxes when needed. After looking at misplaced and missing boxes I do know, I decided it was not for me although if desperate might be ok for people desperate for a post box

Database wrong - missed the last post
The app is only as good as the database and the main problem with the app is that the database contains wrong times. It was wrong a long time ago and even when updating the database it is still wrong. The database appears to be very old making it not very useful. In my area it knows about the postboxes because let's face it the post offices very rarely add or remove postboxes but they do change the collection times but this information isn't updated. The result is that in my area every postbox had a collection time earlier to different amounts that the one the app showed meaning I trusted the app and missed the last post in all of my local boxes.

Nightmare, shows your location on a map bug you can't scroll about. Useless!

I didn't know any locations of postboxes and only one half a mile away I'm happy to say with this I found it in two minutes left house at 5:08 and came back 5:16 :-) thank you

It finds my location correctly but when I try to zoom the map out or move it around it pings back to my location so I can't actually search the area.

This app shows you where postboxes are located near you and also the last collection times. Extremely handy!

Brilliant app!
I've just moved to this app from FindPostboxes by Elbatrop. Although that is a good app, the process for updating it is rather slow and inconvenient. With this one, confirming the identity of an unnamed box is via a website, and related to the Post Office data list and so is instant and accurate (apart from the fact that the Post Office data is not up to date on collection times).
When I had confirmed all the boxes in my area, I went back to the app, downloaded the file and updated my phone data from it. My amendments were showing immediately on the map. And this is on your phone, so not affected by 3G foibles or poor GPS as other apps can be.

Too many missing!
Too many postboxes in my local area are missing from the map so I won't be relying on it elsewhere. Useful if you're really stuck though.
