After a few minutes your not able to edit old posts on your channels, please fix this would make the app much more better and be able to pin more channels !
Messages Keep Auto-Deleting
Messages auto-delete in chats and channels, and logging out makes older messages disappear too. Fix these bugs — the app isn’t reliable right now.
Potential
This app has a lot of potential but I’m concerned due to lack of staff involvement in these reviews. With telegram banning random accounts actively this has been my best alternative however if the owner doesn’t start making improvements and updates soon this app will fall fast.
SLOW/BUGGY
It does the job. But it’s just a very slow, buggy, not as cool version of the Goat Telegram.
Poor IT help
App has bugs and I’ve tried to seek help but there are no resources and they do not contact you and assist.
The Frank Truth
Lets be honest here, the chat/encryption itself is fine, now let’s talk about the channel interface, I think Potato really pushed out the app and decided to not put in full effort here. I switched from Telegram to Potato since mid 2024, and I really miss having GIFs and Telegram Premium, and cool emojis. Let’s say you run a clothing line on Potato and you try to focus on marketing, how are we ever going to make our customers intrigued? There’s nothing on Potato that is truly eye catching like emojis, profile status, or anything of that sort. Now Im going to talk about Potato’s interface, I have around 200 channels im in, 100+ DMs, and STILL. NO FOLDERS.
Telegram really makes it easier for everything. From looks and styles to organization. This app is nice, but inconvenient. So please add some updates, add what we want. And we can all be happy!

decent substitute for telegram, needs edit options for messages. doesn’t make sense to delete and repost just to edit a message
Lagging
Hasn’t been bad up until a couple days ago I’ll be in my channel posting or sending my channel out and it’ll just cut out to the Home Screen I don’t understand why but other than that it’s good

My app crashes the second i try to upload/ send media. i’ve deleted the app reinstalled done every possible. i’ve contacted customer service the past 3 days in a row with no response. time to find another app i would give 0 stars if possible. get signal
Take Potato Chat Seriously
The app has crazy potential — crypto deposits, VIP features, rare usernames, verified accounts — but the “showgirl cam” in Discovery makes it feel like a joke. If you want Potato Chat to compete with Telegram or Discord, remove that clutter and double down on what makes this app unique. CHNAEL LINKS ARE ALWAYS HAVING ISSUES
Nice app but Chanel links are always having issues it won’t let me join try to join some particular channels but it won’t let me join till date because I’d the Chanel link no matter how you change the links is still not working. Do everything possible to work on channel links it is very important mordant 50% of Chanel links are not working

Worthless app
Extremely annoying, says 8-20 for a password but I have tried a thousand different options and doesn’t work. I can accurately say I hate this app with all my spirit and strength I wish I could smash it.
Sudden issues
This app is great but I’m giving it a 1 star because the app keeps getting sticker at the loading screen then stops
Good app wish it was easier to invite people and was a bit more seamless
A lot people complain about quality just post your pic/vid as a file only complaint I got is that’s it a little difficult to join from a invite link sometimes and the sign up process wish it was more seamless
Potato app no longer opening
Recently, my potato app stopped working, it doesn't even open to display the list, every time I click on it on my phone, it opens and then immediately disappears.

Channels/ Groups notifications
Since i downloaded this App(IOS) on my phone last year, i don't receive notifications from Groups/Channels when the app is not opened. I only receive notifications when the app is open.
It looks like background refresh doesn't work for Channels/Groups unless the app is open.
