Loved it until…

5 starts… Loved it until it stopped loading. It just gets stuck on the loading page. Now I’m afraid I’ve lost all the recipes I saved - some I don’t have anywhere else. I really hope someone can help. App support button just tried to open the app and that doesn’t help me…

We experienced an unexpected 7-hour downtime due to cloud provider maintenance, which caused the app to hang on the loading screen. Please rest assured that all of your saved recipes are completely safe, secured, and backed up, nothing has been lost. The app is now fully back up and running. Absolutely my favorite recipe app. This is my most functional and used app. Recipes are easy to find, easy to enter, and easy to use! Thanks for the being the best!

Makes my life easy!

Potluck has quickly become one of my most used apps. It makes it SO easy to follow recipes without reading a rambling story or dealing with the pop-ups that are always on cooking websites. Then the fact I can save and refer to them later makes planning meals each week SO easy and more organized. This app has been a huge part of boosting my confidence in the kitchen. Would highly recommend!

Double entry is FUN

I like the premise, but it is waaaaay too buggy. Lots of double entry. Copies over text that isn’t there, when you remove it and save it, it’s still there. Go back and do it again, it’s correct. It won’t let you add units of measurements. Only the prefab ones they already have. It throws in the letter “s”
Before ingredients, so you have to go and edit those out. And yep….you guessed it, you have to remove them twice, because, hey….DOUBLE ENTRY IS FUN. And, oh, as a bonus…..you get to pay $$ for the app.

Cook? Bake??? You NEED this app!

First off, let me say… I was having a little bit of an issue. I did not understand something, and I wrote them, they quickly responded! I’ve had issues with other apps (they were all game apps) but nobody ever responded to me. These people -want- to help you…they -want- you to enjoy their app!

I’m a woman of a certain age and if I can figure this out, I think anybody can! You can put your recipe wherever you want it, and you can import a photo for it also.
I truly feel this app is very user-friendly.

This will import or allow you to copy and paste a recipe. The Ingredients list and the directions are kept in place, you can add things if you want to. Honestly, if you cook or bake, you absolutely need this app!

…dramatic music playing…OMG! Who knew?!

Seriously, I accidentally came across this app while looking at other similar apps, I probably spent an hour and a half reading and comparing…trust me on this, THIS is the one you want! I will just say I am a woman of a certain age and this is -so- user friendly that I thought I had to be doing something wrong! 😅

It imports the chosen recipe when you add the link, so the app can import it. You now have photo, directions and ingredient list. The only thing you don’t get is a private chef to make it for you! I guess we can’t all be perfect 😉

Just downloaded this app to store my recipes on & felt compelled to write a review, it fantastic, easy to use, I used the microphone to dictate rather than typing which made everything so much quicker and easier. I would most definitely recommend this app to anyone

My Favorite Cooking App!!!!!

First, I just want to say thank you for making a simple, effective and amazing app that does EXACTLY what I need. I love finding new recipes, but trying to keep track of them all has been hectic…until I discovered this app! For anyone who likes to cook and find recipes from anywhere and everywhere, or create your own, YOU MUST TRY THIS APP!

Second, there are just two things I would change/like to see in updates. 1-it would be great if the last recipes I used were immediately listed on the welcome screen instead of the most recently added. This might be a choice added to the settings at some point? 2-I would like a cooking mode where my screen doesn’t go dark. Maybe this already exists and I’m missing it, but sometimes when my hands are doughy, it just helps to have my screen on so I can see the next step.

Otherwise, DON’T change a thing…this app is fabulous!

Regarding the recipe view issue, this is a bug in iOS 18 that we need to address. The recipe view is supposed to stay on while viewing a recipe, but unfortunately, it stopped working recently. Love this app!!!

This is just what I have been looking for to save recipes! It is so refreshing to have a place to store recipes that I don’t have to scroll and scroll to get to the actual recipe. Thank you!
