About
ORDER THE RIGHT AMOUNT. PROVE WHAT SHOWED UP.
Running short mid-pour costs you a cold joint and a return-trip charge. Ordering
long means paying for a half load you dump in the woods. PourCalc gives you the
number you can actually say to a dispatcher, and then follows it all the way to
the invoice.
Free. Nothing locked, nothing capped, no ads, no account, works with no signal.
TWELVE CALCULATORS, ZERO LOCKED
Rectangular slab. Circular slab. Strip footing. Column and pier, count included.
Poured wall with opening deductions. Steps, in both solid and fill-behind models.
Curb and gutter. Post holes less post displacement. Block fill and mortar.
Compacted paver base. Bulk landscape material. Rebar and mesh.
The four you use most are on the launch screen. Every one ships a depth preset,
so a first-run answer needs no setup at all. A Solve For control inverts the same
formula: fix the volume you have left and get the area you can cover or the depth
you can reach.
TYPE IT LIKE YOU READ THE TAPE
A feet-inch-fraction keypad with 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 keys. It reads 12'6",
12' 6 1/2", 12-6, 150in, 3.8m and 3800mm. The system keyboard never covers your
answer, every field says what a bare number means, and the app echoes back what
it understood. Big targets, one thumb, gloves on.
ONE JOB, ONE NUMBER
Real slabs are not rectangles. Add the driveway, the apron, the sidewalk and six
piers as separate labelled sections and PourCalc sums them, applies ONE waste
factor and rounds up EXACTLY ONCE to the quarter yard your plant dispatches in.
Switch a section out of the order without deleting it: bid this week, pour the
apron next month.
THE ORDER CARD
Net volume, waste percent, ordered quantity, truck count with the load weight,
and a red banner with the estimated short-load fee if you are under the plant
minimum. Landscaping instead? The same card gives cubic yards AND tons, the
yard's dispatch increment, and trips at your trailer payload.
BY THE TON, WITH A DENSITY YOU CAN SEE
Gravel, stone, sand and road base are sold by weight, and quoting a volume for
them is the most common ordering mistake in the trade. PourCalc shows both, from
a loose as-delivered density that is visible and editable. Compaction is a
separate multiplier, never folded into waste.
EVERY BAG SIZE AT ONCE
40, 50, 60 and 80 lb counts side by side, plus pallets, total weight and
wheelbarrows, and a bagged-versus-ready-mix comparison that tells you which is
cheaper and by how much.
POUR DAY, WHICH NOBODY ELSE DOES
Tap in each delivery ticket as the truck arrives and the header runs Ordered,
Delivered and Remaining live. Far corner low on the last truck? Measure it and
the top-up card says "call for 1.25 yd, above your 1 yd minimum add-on, no
short-load fee", with the text pre-written. Four weeks later the invoice says
7.25 and your tickets say 6.75, and you will know.
EXPORT
A paste-ready text block for Messages, a one-page PDF for the customer with every
section and its formula, and a call script listing what the dispatcher is about
to ask you, in order. All generated on your phone, all working in Airplane Mode.
METRIC AND IMPERIAL THROUGHOUT
One toggle changes every input, label, bag catalogue, density and price unit.
Conversions are exact, and prices convert in the right direction.
SHOW THE MATH
Every result shows the formula with your own numbers substituted, names the
assumption it used, and warns you, without blocking you, when a number looks like
a feet-versus-inches mix-up.
YOUR DATA IS YOURS
Unlimited saved jobs that reopen fully editable. Everything stays on your device.
No account, no tracking, no data collection, with JSON backup and restore built
in, which doubles as sending a job to another phone on the crew.
From JCreates: simple, focused tools for people who build things.
Estimates only. Confirm quantities with your supplier before you order. PourCalc
does not recommend a mix design, so follow the plans or your engineer.
