Never gets updated

Developers haven’t responded to issues ever. Same complaints years later. Look at these bad reviews and unresolved problems. If you can return your automated products to save yourself aggravation, do so.

App won’t connect to the hub

The app stopped communicating with my hub, even though it had been working for years. I tried deleting and re-adding the hub, but the setup process fails after you specify the WiFi SSID and password. I even tried a new hub thinking it was a fault with hardware, but no difference.

Fail

App just stopped logging in. Says my network is the problem. Can’t seem to find any company to contact. Absolute fail.

Stopped working

I got this to work but then after 2 years it suddenly stopped controlling my shades. It started with one or two shades not going up and down on the timer and now None of them will work on the timer!
Tried to reprogram but it won’t work either!

Glitchy lately

The timer for my shade was working well, but within the last 1-2 months the timer is not reliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But according to the history it is working. Not sure what changed, but I have no problem manually opening/closing it on my app so the communication from my devices work. It must be an app glitch.

Stopped working

This app has been working normally for about 2 years, opening and closing 2 shades. It stopped working today, it won’t connect and when I try to delete hub it says, “Login failed, please check your network connection”.

I tried deleting and reinstalling app but it wouldn’t connect on iPhone. I tried app on iPad and it miraculously connected but was not able to use old account so had to start from scratch. Will see if it works and for how long

Never works. Ever. Developer doesn’t update.

Such garbage. The app is terrible. Functions don’t work. I’ve read every review and tried every work around. Nothing works together. Timer works for some not others. Not user friendly as you have no idea if your shade opened or closed. Complete junk like the hub you must buy to go with this garbage app.

Needs more customizability in schedule

The fabric blinds I’m controlling have an internal fabric “blind” that makes the window treatment opaque when nearly fully open. There needs to be a setting that says open completely then close for X seconds so that I don’t have to manually do this to allow the window treatment to be opaque. Right now, “fully open” means I have fabric slats and “fully closed” means that the fabric is rolled up and not visible. I really need a way to have it “nearly almost all the way open”. It’s like we need a feature that will allow us to open and/or close for a set amount of seconds.

Won’t open all

I wanted this to work but it decided to open only 3 of the 4 and then 2 of the 4. And then sometimes all 4. Not sure what to do. No happy at all.

Complete garbage - don’t buy this system

Purchased “automated” blinds from blinds.com and had to buy an expensive hub that worked with this app. As other reviewers have said, nothing works as advertised. I have six motorized blinds that were all setup correctly. None work consistently, nor simultaneously, or on timers. You can’t even tell which shade is opened or closed on the app. The manufacturer won’t take responsibility for falsely advertising and says they “don’t guarantee they will work”. What a waste of money that I can’t get back. Save yourself and choose something else.

Cannot connect the hub at all

Garbage app

Timer function rarely works correctly. When the timer runs only some of the blinds open as expected and it’s never the same ones.

I can’t even use the app to open single windows because it bugs out and won’t do anything.

Just use the remote, that’s what I do. I’d give this zero stars if it was even possible.

Installation issue

First time I install that and because a happened I delete that. After that to many time I tried to add device (smart hub) to app but it was not possible I receiving notification connected but dosnt show me n desktop app 😞

Dose Not Work

Please fix this app, my remote blinds are useless without this app working properly.

Great idea poor execution

It simply doesn’t work the way it supposed to like everyone one timer is not working, scheduled 6 shades with 1 sec between each and it still opens only one. Manuals via app works fine. I’ll return the hub and get something that actually works.

A solution to the timer program

It took a while but I’ve found a solution to the timer problem. Follow the programming sequence below:
If it is necessary to program a new shade down position for your shades, make sure that you erase the factory set shade down position following directions provided with the Remote
On the P2 Powermate app, program a scene for each shade to open and for each shade to close
Program all open shade scenes first with at least a one second progressive delay for each shade (ie., Shade 1, open immediate, Shade 2, 1 second delay, Shade 3, 2 second delay, etc.)
Then program all close shade scenes with at least one second progressive delay for each shade (ie., Shade 1, close immediate, Shade 2, 1 second delay, Shade 3, 2 second delay, etc.)
After creating and saving each Open scene, Slide the Scene icon to the left and touch the “Timer” icon and set the same open time on all shade open scenes
After creating and saving each Close scene, Slide the Scene icon to the left and touch the “Timer” icon and set the same close time on all shade close scenes

Timer works only intermittently

The timer does not always work, really annoying!

Really bad

I have the same problem as other users, where some shades just don’t participate in opening or closing automations. It really doesn’t make any sense and it’s definitely not user error. This really needs to be fixed.

It’s clear that this software was written by non English speakers because the English is awkward.

It’s also clear that this isn’t written by experienced software engineers.

I regret buying these shades.
