User reviews

Updated app - feedback implemented

Thanks for taking on my earlier feedback about there being insufficient tariff options for setting up electricity plans. I’m more than happy to give this app 5 stars now. The system is easy to use and the app gives almost instantaneous usage and costing data. This allows us to make on-the-spot decisions about electricity usage to minimise our costs but maximise our lifestyle comfort/functionality.

Best Buy

I use the Powersensor to decide when to use certain appliances and make maximum use of the sun. Easy to install and with the long lasting charge from the batteries requires little maintenance.

No nuance for different rates

This app assumes that TOU tariffs only have 3 rates: peak, shoulder and off-peak. I have 4: peak, shoulder, off-peak and EV charging off-peak. Some plans offer 5 tariffs with a super off-peak in addition to the 4 I have. Please add functionality to set more tariff levels - without these extra levels I cannot set my costs up accurately, which limits the usefulness of this system.

Saving $

Great App! Does as advertised and saves us money with an iPad we have mounted to the wall displaying usage! Thankyou

Feature request: Dark mode? But app based not system based. As my iPad cannot run iOS that supports dark mode. Cheers

Stuck on "retrieving data"

Can be a bit buggy at times and the now data should refresh more frequently
