Gone downhill
I used to love this app and happily subscribed. In the last year numerous bug have cropped up and now I used apple to renew my membership at gold but none of the features are accessible. I tried emailing support multiple times and got no response after two weeks. Very disappointed because I loved the app. Guess I will start looking for a replacement that cares about return customer.

What happened to this app?
I used to love this app and was a paid subscriber for many years. Recently, it’s seemed pretty glitchy, but I figured I’d give it one more try before moving on to something else. I tried to subscribe through the website, but kept getting an error, so I figured I’d just subscribe through the app. Well, I’ve now been charged $120 and have no access to the “gold” features. All the meal plans are still locked, I still have ads, and I don’t have the “Prepear” mode. It doesn’t seem like this app is being updated or supported anymore, so I wouldn’t waste your money. Hopefully I can get a refund since it’s no longer working, but I would steer clear!

Won’t save personal recipes and can’t delete account
I signed up to save some of my recipes and create a meal plan. I added a recipe but unfortunately couldn’t save it after entering all the required details. Being of no use to me, I then proceeded to delete my account but couldn’t. Kept clicking on the delete account button and nothing would happen. I understand there are limitations with free versions but to not be able to enter and save a single recipe nor have the option to delete my account is pretty bad!

App Decline
EDIT 5/16/26 - UNABLE TO CANCEL!
I have been a $99 subscriber for many years however it is time for me to move on. I received my annual renewal notice email for a 5/12/26 date. I have attempted to change my subscription Setting to free version but am unable to. The buttons are there but there if no effect when I click on them. I have messaged customer service multiple times with no response. Now, there subscription appears to have renewed as 5/12/26 has passed, and they renewal date on the billing page now says 5/12/2027. This is unacceptable.

Latest update is unusable
As of this latest update to 26.2.1, the web version of the app is completely broken. Just seeing a blank page. In the iPhone app, I lost 4 months of meals in my planner. Reaching out for help is very hard to find. When I finally found an email, I got an automated reply but have not heard form a human (or even a bot) in over 24 hours. This is unacceptable.

Buggy-update Lost my recipes and meal plans
Update-there was an app update a couple days ago. Most of my saved recipes are gone now. My meal plan that I did for the rest of the month-gone.
First, let me start by saying this app has some great features...that is when they work. The web browser especially is glitchy. The entire bottom inch of the window doesn't work. You can visually see the mouse icon change when you hover over that particular area of the screen. Another thing is that the program doesn't have a way to contact support. There is at least a link on the web browser for that, but it leads nowhere. There is no where on the app itself to be able to contact support to put an issue in.

Used to be amazing but doesn’t work well anymore
I have loved this app and used it for many many years. I loved planning my meals, having it populate to a grocery list, and then being able to shop Walmart grocery directly from there. The last six months to a year, though, there have been so many glitches. It will no longer shot my list for menus that are in the future, and it will no longer shop the Walmart grocery app. I am so sad and frustrated as I have spent years adding all of my recipes to this app. I hope they can fix it.

Old and Tired now
I have been using the gold for 8+ years now and while it was amazing in the past (a real life saver) it now hardly ever works and appears unsupported by ownership. I can’t even get my meals to make a grocery list. I will not be renewing my gold status and unfortunately will need to move to a better supported meal planning app.

What happened?
I heavily rely on this app but it has had too many glitches over the last year that I wish I wouldn’t have renewed my subscription because they still haven’t been fixed even though support has said the issues are resolved. Such a bummer! It was amazing before.
Not working anymore
Used to be such a great app. Now it has so many glitches. I can’t order from Walmart as the Walmart shopping won’t load in app. Categories don’t display until refresh. Sometimes can’t click buttons, won’t recognize touches and scroll. Quality has really gone downhill, like they’re not using the app to know what needs to be fixed and just doing basic iOS required updates to packets without looking at functionality. Please fix or I’m cancelling my subscription and moving all my recipes.

Used to be great…
I’ve used this app for years and have so many recipes in it! Now I think it’s no longer being maintained. And there’s no way to log a support request. I’ll be migrating elsewhere.
Recent updates
The recent updates have completely screwed with the functionality of the app. Cannot quick save a note as the save button is covered by the keyboard with no way to minimize the keyboard.
At times, the app window is too big for the phone screen, making it difficult to use the features at the top of the screen. This app worked great before these updates. These issues need to be resolved!

I’ve used this app for years—why is it crashing???
I’ve used this app for years and I can’t add a menu plan now. It’s crashes automatically. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled, turned my phone off and on, kicked it, punched it- nothing! Please fix this!
Pretty good but missing finer points
Still trying it out but find this app to be better than a few others I am experimenting with. The ability to adjust recipes based on desired servings in a real benefit. Really surprised the app does not adjust to landscape mode, especially for an iPad. I also think the app is a little rough in other ways such as only being able to sort recipes that are not in cookbooks. Hopefully they can make the refinements sooner than later.

Frustrated
It works fine on my iPad but I can’t login on my iPhone. I need the shopping list on my phone. I’m not going to drag my iPad to the store!

Is it worth it?
The most frustrating thing about this app is it’s inability to import recipes without getting the “bummer” error. The site you requested asked us not to store the recipe on their site. I found this error is only with this app. The price for a yearly membership is ridiculous. I’m glad I found a better app.
