Great App with custom options
I really love that I can chose the prepositions you want to target. I also like that it gives multiple trials so that the child gets several opportunities with the selected positions. Great app for therapy!
Great app overall!
As a SLP, I love using this app with my kiddos who need work on identifying prepositions. The children really like the pictures and use of the iPad to target their goals. My only negative to this app is that it requires pretty good fine motor skills for the app to score the answer as “correct”.
Motivating!
My kiddos love the surprise of seeing which instrument they have earned. Learning and fun mixed together like all SLP things should be!
Engaging
This is a fun way to work on concepts. Kids are really engaged and want to keep playing.
Use Often
This is a good app for teaching and engaging with the user without them getting lost in clicking through with learning. I like that you can work on specific prepositions then add contrasted learning with other prepositions. The only think I would change is the sensitivity of where you select, often little fingers get close but not on the hotspot and they don’t get it correct. This is a go to for practice with prepositions!

Need very fine motor skills
Bought this expensive app for a child with autism and when he is a millimeter off the intended object it provides a negative reinforcer. When an object is behind an object, the app expects you to be able to touch the tiny piece that is sticking out. At one time, there was a question about a dog beside a woman, when the correct answer was a dog pictured beside a little girl. For the cost, this is unacceptable and I'll be seeking a refund. Hope this review helps others and I hope the producers make the necessary adjustments to the app t make it more useful and accurate.

Most of the concerns seem to stem from an inadvertent misunderstanding of the “settings” There is a “settings” button on the bottom right corner of the main menu. This allows you to turn off the “buzz” reinforcement and offers 2 other choices: “no response” or “keep going”. if you turn off the “buzz,” and select “no response” you can give the child with delayed or poor fine motor skills multiple attempts to touch the correct area. The app is very specific with helping teach prepositions. What sometimes gives a few individuals difficulty is that they must follow the directions precisely. For example, when it says "find the turtle behind the ball" the student must touch the actual turtle NOT the ball as the ball would still be an incorrect answer. Explaining this to the student typically resolves any issues and they become more thoughtful of where they touch. You are correct to point out that we currently have one typo on the app amongst the hundreds of target questions. We are planning on fixing the typo on the next update. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Convenient and fun
This is a must for receptive preposition goals. Kids love the pictures. It’s so easy to pull out and practice certain prepositions or just get a baseline on which one kids need more help understanding.
Kid approved app
As a speech-language pathologist I use this app when working on generalization of the concept targeted. I like that you can select the concepts that will be displayed. Great pictures. Occasionally the app can be selective on where the correct selection area is even if the child is correct. I have a couple artic kiddos who select this for reward time over game based apps.

Great practice tool
Love using this app with my students. It gives good structured additional practice after teaching or assessment opportunities pre or post teaching/practice with as many of the prepositions I choose. The kids think this is a more fun way to practice than other ways.

Love this app!
This is an amazing app. It’s simple and effective. Prepositions can be a skill area that is tricky to instruct and generalize but my students are highly motivated taking the work out of planning! I love that you can customize the prepositions to target! It’s a great warm up before sessions begin!
Still Errors
This app still has errors. It continues to mislabel items after responses.
Great but one glitch
This app is great for teaching spatial concepts (aka prepositions). I love that it keeps data for me. However, when I try to email to myself, the email won't go away after sending or after pressing cancel. Yesterday I thought it didn't send and I sent it to myself 10 times. And since it won't go away, I can't use the app for my next student.

Fan
I would like to start by saying I absolutely love the newest update with the visual praise for a job well done!! Unfortunately, I have encountered multiple issues with the app stating that an incorrect answer was correct. So far, I've only used on top of and in the middle. This gets to be very confusing and causes truly incorrect answers to be chosen.

Amazing app!
Preposition remix is a great app that allows the clinician (or parent!) to pick and choose which prepositions to work on depending on the child's needs. The pictures are clear and it's easy to use. I definitely recommend it!
Speech
I do not like this app at all! The pictures are odd looking and sometimes when students don't touch the correct picture in an exact area, they get the selection wrong, even though it is the right picture. The voices are annoying as well as the sounds associated with the app. I am VERY disappointed and do not recommend this app at all. I used it with my speech students today and it was not a good app at all.... a waste of money.

Good app for therapy!
I am an SLP in a school, and I really like Preposition Remix as I am always looking for more ways to teach prepositions and following directions. This app is good for kids that need to learn to follow simple directions or work on basic spatial
I like the option to choose only specific prepositions that you want to work on. This app also keeps data for you and gives you an accuracy percentage at the end of the session which is great. I also like that you have to touch the specific object for the answer to be correct. For example, if the direction is to touch the baby in the basket, you have to specifically touch the baby and not just the basket.
There are a couple things I would change. I would like to be able to keep data on more than one student at a time, as currently you cannot. Also, when a student picks a correct answer, the screen stays the same and the only reinforcement is auditory (either a beep for a wrong answer or a person talking for a correct answer). I would like to see some sort of visual reinforcement if the student picks the correct answer (i.e. the picture could be highlighted or a smiley face could appear on the screen indicating a correct answer). I think this would help reinforce correct answers for children that have receptive language difficulties.
