search results were covered by an annoying ad at the bottom of the page; couldn’t navigate to page 2. then was locked out (pay to play) before I could decide if I wanted to keep it.

This app is full of ads and it has the option too to turn it into a porn mode, where it fills your screen with porn ads.

I love it except for the annoying ‘Use Presearch app’ button every time I open the browser, get rid of that annoying button and I give you 5 stars.
Decent..
But certain settings get defaulted a lot...the ones that tech companies are pushing, winkwink. Also want a browser that allows domain blocks. That browser would have me as a dedicated user

If you want to protect your information online and prevent tracking via gazillions of websites, use Presearch browser, you wont miss anything else. Been using it for the last few years, seen the way how the product has evolved, they have their own suite of products search engine, decentralized crawler, indexer. All coming together nicely.

You have to make an account to use all of the Apps options and the Developer can do whatever they want with the information you provide to them.
Developer doesn’t guarantee your safety will using their touted Pre Search Mode. I have never found an app developer that claims to not collect any Data that is written using Legalese and makes your eyes tired because it is so extremely long.
App doesn’t work while in Lockdown Mode? Which I find very odd for a company that claims to protect your PRIVACY. I’m not going to turn off Lockdown Mode just to use one App. Yes I am paranoid about my Personal Data, Data Breaches seem to be occurring so frequently that I can’t remember how many times I’ve been notified to reset my passwords and update my information.
The App developers website has links to every Data thieving social media platform that “share” your information with each other and other entities. The developers make it clear that they can’t keep users safe from 3rd party websites Privacy Policies.
What I find most puzzling is that the app interface is a direct clone of the iOS Brave Privacy App. Please check out both apps and you can see for yourself how similar the interfaces are.
