Map sold view now gone
Since the update the search function that allows you to see Redding sales via map view is gone. This was one of the best features as it allows you to check local sold prices at a glance

Inaccuracies
The details shown are very inaccurate. When a property is sold, PriceFinder leaves the old owners’ contact details as the current owners’ details although they update the last sale date & the price!

Data is inaccurate or missing
Signed up to investor subscription for $175 per month. First two properties lacked any proprietor data and price information was inaccurate - ie large declines in value.
Response from company was
1) Vic doesn’t provide proprietor data (they don’t state this on sign up page)
2) Inaccuracies come government reports. “Not our problem”
In a nutshell the data they sell is available online for free. They are a disreputable company with a poor product which requires 30 days notice to cancel. Don’t even consider them

Useful but has its drawbacks
I find pricefinder very useful. Couple of drawbacks are you can’t right comments against a property when preparing a Cma and the other is I would love to see an easy option to do up a Cma on my phone so when I’m out with a client I can send them something immediately. Other then that I use it everyday!

Not good
I have found Pricefinder does not have enough up to date information and is crippling me when I have a siting appointment with limited data. I have also just found out that if a property has never been listed on Domain.com.au that relevant data will not appear for this property. This product was sold to us by our domain rep and we were not told about the limited data. Nobody from pricefinder will contact us about our subscription and this to me as a business owner is unacceptable. Because this product is also owned by Domain it has left a bad taste about all of Domain.com.au products and services. I would highly not recommend this service to anybody in the real estate industry and I have never written a bad review before about any company. But this is the worst customer service I have encountered. I don’t blame the Domain reps because they are amazing. I blame the limited training Pricefinder must give them on their product. I feel we have been totally misrepresented by Pricefinder and if I could give a zero star rating I would.
