Developers need to be fired, terrible app
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been at the checkout line only for the app to refuse to load or take forever for me to have to log into the app so my membership appears. I’ve had to get out of the checkout line multiple times because the app hadn’t loaded my membership by the time the cashier asks me for it. I’m fed up with dealing with these bugs. Please give us the option to download our membership to Apple wallet so we don’t have to rely on a unreliable app.

Keeps logging out
While it’s convenient to always have my membership card in my phone, the fact that every time I go to a store and open the app, it’s logged out, which makes it somewhat useless if efficiency was the goal here.
I have noticed that other people spend a minute on their phone because of this as well.
If there’s a technical limitation to keep the session, perhaps enabling adding it to the Apple Wallet could help, which would make it even more practical.

Terrible app and website
I expect better from PriceSmart considering how much people spend on membership among other things. The app is extremely glitchy. Ordering online is very hit or miss. Things don’t load and when I’m in store the service is slow to boot.

This app always fails to load the membership data so I have to reload. Very poor performance and slow app. Need several improvements to make it faster.

The app logs users out when there is no internet connection, which prevents access to the membership barcode required at checkout. This creates a poor user experience, especially if one has no mobile data or WIFI.
The app also blocks screenshots of the membership card, so users cannot rely on a saved image as a backup.

It NEVER Works
Honestly, it’s like you don’t want to sell. Get it together.
Very, very, buggy
9 times out of 10 this app will not open. It asks you to turn on notifications and when you click cancel, it just goes to a blue screen. All you can do is swipe up and try to restart.
Worse customer service around
Managers and cashiers need customer service and empathy training . Will not be renewing membership. I will also be sharing my story and encouraging other to do the same

I have been a member we since I first came to Santo Domingo 8 years ago! but, unfortunately your service has deteriorated horribly! The app has a lot of issues! customer service can never resolve or help you with any technical issues! it’s just horrible service I’ll be canceling my membership!

App never works properly
PriceSmart policies infuriates me. Ever since Covid they don’t give physical membership cards anymore forcing you to use the app. You can’t show screenshots either of your digital membership card. I was waiting in line to check out, the app refused to load just stayed on the blue intro screen. I was forced to get out of line, tried to close and reopen the app several times. Had to reboot my phone and spend a good 5 minutes trying to get the app to actually load properly so I can show my membership. How many years is it going to take until you finally fix this app????

Issue with App Location Feature
I’d like to bring to your attention an issue with the online location feature on the Pricesmart app. When I enter my address, the app requires me to move the pin to confirm my location. However, when I move the pin to where my home is actually located, the address automatically changes to an incorrect one. There’s no way for me to input my correct address without the pin moving to the wrong house.

Waste of time
This app has been useless for quite some time not. I even contacted customer support and the assistance provided was just as much a waste of time as the app. My annual subscription was due and I was unable to use the app to renew it. I received a WhatsApp message with a link and that too was AWOT! I hope that the quality of products offered never reach this low threshold. Question is, does PriceSmart even care?

Useless App
PriceSmart doesn’t give you physical cards anymore, forcing you to use the digital version on the app. This app hasn’t worked properly since last year! I can’t get past the login screen, just stays stuck on a loading screen. Warehouse employees give me trouble trying to get into the club because the app doesn’t load! Fire the developers that have not fixed this known and reported issue since last year, it’s ridiculous that this is still an issue.
