Potential, but bugged

Has potential on par with the 5E version, but is currently bugged. It crashes on character creation. I would love to see this receive an update, but with the last version being from 2 years ago I can’t help but think it has been abandoned.

Eh

Felt amazing with great customization but it’s glitched to the point I can’t pick a standard class (monk). I could creat monk as a class but that’s annoying

More work than pencil, paper, and book

The UI is cool, but you have to manually set up any content you want to use in the app through individual setup wizards if you want any degree of procedural functionality. You can set up a blank character sheet, but then you basically have to have the character already built out in order to put things where they need to go, and getting it all entered that way is very tedious with the way the UI needs to pull up a fresh dialogue overlay every time you want to adjust a bonus. Had a friend build out two and a half characters in the time it took me to set up one using the blank sheet option.

The UI is 10/10, and is clearly where 100% of the effort went in this app, with little to no attention paid to content or UX. This app feels like a prototype or a proof of concept project, but is not really a practical choice for someone looking for streamlined character management. What’s there is phenomenal, but what’s lacking is profound.

Empty compendium

The interface is great, but the compendium has some languages ando nothing more- races, classes, feats, none are available to read or to use during character creation.
Tried to pay for the pro version, no change.

Terrible App

Awful app. 0 content available, with no easy method to contact the developer for concerns. Nothing is hidden behind paywall. Do not pay for this content, regardless of low cost

Sad face

Guys I’m so sad. I’m seeing reviews from three years ago how you guys are working on adding all of the missing content. There’s still so much missing. No races. No classes?

Judgmental “community”

I asked for help with finding a name for a concept, and rather than receiving that help, I was immediately greeted with a statement saying the concept is overused. That is not helpful, nor was it prompted. Take your business elsewhere if you want to not be judged

The U.I is great, the app has potential

The other prism apps are very good. But this one is a little barren. And no I’m not talking about how you have to download the class or ancestry information from the discord or import it yourself, I can look past that. What I’m talking about is the lack of a proper leveling system making leveling up a very tedious process, traits as a whole do not come with descriptions and are not included in the compendium for editing, and despite the pro version being the same price, this app does not have nearly as many features as the dnd companion app and somehow feels closer to the Call of Cthulhu app (Which is odd, since unlike dnd and pathfinder. Coc doesn’t even technically have combat). I understand that the dnd companion app makes more money, but it would be nice to see some streamlining updates for this app soon.

Not worth downloading

Downloaded app and tried to create a PF1E character. No races set up, the Compendium only has languages in it. Not worth the time in downloading the app. Deleted it.

Not even a builder unless you know everything already

The app doesn’t even include any of the miles of free content. You could achieve the same effectiveness with the notes app.

Blank sheet

It’s got a great concept for an app design, but there are too many apps that all ready have all the content loaded and you don’t have to fill in every single field. Would be absolutely wonderful if you homebrew every single aspect of everything

Good Only If You Have a Finished Character and Love Typing

Everything has to be done by hand except it will do ability scores

Great App

Easily the best part (in my opinion) of PrismPathfinder is the freedom to customize anything. It’s basically an empty core rulebook were you fill it out how you want it. PrismPathfinder would’ve better (in my opinion) the best if it had all the information like Pathbuilder but with PrismPathfinder Compendium option to edit anything.

Confusing

Honestly this app makes no sense and no helpful way to know how to use it. It seems like i have to “make new” for every character building option. As someone new to the game it makes character building harder than it probably should be.

Save your $$ until there’s some content.

This app is empty.

Might as well be a form fillable PDF

If I wanted to type in every single feature I’d just use a form fillable PDF. 0 content in the app, just a fancy UI.

Garbage UI, half the buttons don’t work

Pretty much everything I tried to click, from info buttons to help buttons don’t do anything. Overall the app is completely useless

I like it, but it doesn’t have any data

I like the layout, and it will be good to use, but the pathfinder character creation doesn’t give you anything past character stats. No races, classes, etc. would love to use it when it’s more polished.

It’s okay but-

For me, it takes way too much work to set this in a usable state.

Ok but

It does what it says.after you manually input the rules yourself..
