after trying a lot of alternatives found this and pretty happy, even though it lack some of the features I need, we have to admit that it's a high quality app

Better and better

I bought an early version years ago, and didn’t find it much better than the other OCR apps at the time. But Prizmo Go kept improving as an app, and I got better at using its capabilities. Now it’s my go-to app for extracting text from just about anywhere. And it’s right there in the palm of my hand.

Amazingly useful app

I have used this for a long time, and keep finding different ways it helps me.
I often read things; recipes, news articles, health papers, and this app enables me to put that written word in a document of my choice, or add to a text etc
Just by taking a screen shot and letting the app 'read it', then in seconds it is ready to paste into whatever I want - Brilliant
