Can’t you make a Trainline for bus

Useless app

This app is useless. It doesn’t give accurate information and is usually unresponsive

Response from developer

Dear user, can you describe the issue you have?

A work of fiction

Wait for 40mins when it says due, bus passes you when it says 10mins. Most of time no information. I guess no information is better than wrong information. Rome

Worked Well, Helped a lot during trip

It was a good way to prevent me from getting lost, it saved so much time

Ottima applicatione

Finalmente una applicatione per il servizio dei trasporti Romani ben fatta

Crash

It crashes when you click on a bus line number. iOS 7 iPhone 4S.

Great App!

Really good app for residents in Rome, or indeed tourists! Sometimes the info is not correct, for example it says that no buses are running when they are, but the description says it uses data from the atac website, so you can't really blame the app. However, this can be frustrating at times, and it's the reason the app has 4 stars.

On the plus side, the app is easy to use and is an amazing tool when it works :)

Occasionally accurate

An OK implementation of the ATAC on-line bus information system, with some good and some bad. Nice to be able to look up a bus route number and see all the stops mapped -- but you have to know the direction by the end point of the route, which is a mystery. Nice to track the route on a live map as you go to enable getting off at the right stop. But the app appears incapable of reliably telling you when a bus is coming to your stop, and on Sundays in particular is poor at saying if the bus will come at all or if it does, if it will stop. The route planner is OK but also unreliable for several reasons. One minute it will tell you to go one route, the next will be completely different. And the planner tells you to walk to specific stop numbers but doesn't show or map where the stop is, just how far you are from it -- poor when there are a lot of stops around. This gets very frustrating when you have a 1 min connection and you don't know where to go. Still, ProBus is the best of the generally poor apps out there.
